Furious Slaying

Extreme anger demanded an extreme release.

Fan Lang had been beaten and cursed at by Zhu Manchang and the other two for so long that his lungs were ready to explode. Now, at last, it was time to strike back!

Fan Lang snapped the ropes apart like a tiger descending the mountain. The muscles in his arms bulged, Mystic Power surged through his veins, and he unleashed nearly five hundred pounds of savage force as he hurled a punch at Zhu Manchang.

His fist, as large as a bowl, landed squarely on target, warping Zhu Manchang's face out of shape and sending several bloodied teeth flying.

Zhu Manchang crashed heavily to the ground, seeing stars as the blow left him dazed.

The other two male servants were horrified. Neither had expected Fan Lang to break free of the ropes!

Those ropes were as thick as a thumb and had been wrapped around him several times. Logically speaking, someone at the second level of Mystic Apprentice could never have broken them.

In the instant they froze, Fan Lang attacked again. He swung a full punch and knocked one servant to the ground, then rushed the other and grabbed him.

Thug Fist was no joke!

Fan Lang gripped the servant's head tightly, raised his knee, and drove it down hard. His iron-hard knee smashed into the servant's face, blood blossomed, and the sound of bones breaking rang out.

Crack! Crack! Crack!

Consumed by fury, Fan Lang had long since cast aside all mercy. He drove his knee into the servant several times in succession, beating him to death. The man's entire face became a bloody pulp, utterly unrecognizable. Fan Lang's knee was already soaked in blood.

Zhu Manchang and the other servant who had been knocked down staggered to their feet. Having witnessed Fan Lang kill someone with their own eyes, both were terrified.

Zhu Manchang and the other man threatened.

"Report me? You'd better go report me to King Yama!" Fan Lang sneered as he darted toward them.

Zhu Manchang and the other man were both third-level Mystic Apprentices and knew combat skills. Seeing Fan Lang charge at them like a wolf or tiger, they both made their moves. A gale rose beneath one's feet, while the other's fist crackled like popping beans.

Fan Lang faced the two of them alone and met their attack head-on.

A dull boom rang out, dust exploded, and the difference in strength was immediately clear. Fan Lang's cheat-modified Mystic Power was superior, sending Zhu Manchang and the other man flying.

Kill!

Fan Lang struck and twisted one servant's neck.

Now only Zhu Manchang remained. He had started it all, shouted the loudest before, and beaten Fan Lang the most viciously.

"Zhu Manchang, I guarantee you'll die horribly!" Fan Lang said grimly.

"Don't, don't kill me. I'm begging you!" Zhu Manchang begged for forgiveness.

"Begging won't save you. Laozi is going to kill you today no matter what!"

As he spoke, Fan Lang swung a punch and knocked Zhu Manchang to the ground. After beating him half to death, he dragged him to a tree, tied the previous ropes together, and bound him tightly to the trunk.

Zhu Manchang became a punching bag. Fan Lang beat him savagely until he was beaten to death. Of the three, he died the most miserably.

Another twenty Experience Points, along with some ordinary drops.

Player level increased to Mystic Apprentice Level 3. Mystic Power +100, Health +100.

He had leveled up!

A Mystic Warrior's strength increased dramatically. Every level brought enormous changes.

Moreover, Fan Lang's Mystic Power was locked at five times the normal amount. An increase of 100 Mystic Power meant a surge of 500 Mystic Power!

The instant he leveled up, all of Fan Lang's wounds healed, and his depleted Mystic Power was replenished. This was one of the perks of leveling up.

"Whew, the world is finally quiet."

Fan Lang let out a long breath, and the anger in his heart gradually subsided.

To teach Fan Lang a lesson, Zhu Manchang and the other two had deliberately chosen this remote place to avoid being discovered. That had instead provided Fan Lang with the perfect setting to kill them and silence them forever.

Looking around, the area was silent, without a single person in sight. He did not need to worry about word getting back to the City Lord's Mansion.

Zhu Manchang and the others surely had never imagined this would become their burial ground.

After killing them, a new question stood before Fan Lang: where should he go from here?

But things were different now. The entire Wild Rabbit Forest was empty, with Fan Lang as the only person there.
