Each of these seven effects had its own uses. Selecting one would reveal a more detailed description.
Azure Dragon Slash was an offensive skill with a power rating exceeding six thousand. It dealt additional dragon-element damage and was nearly twice as strong as Sky Covering Hand, Asura Swordplay, and similar skills. Azure Dragon Slash consumed Dragon Qi to activate, drawing on the Dragon Scale Sword's own power without using the player's Mystic Power. That was another advantage.
Coiling Dragon Guard was a defensive skill. Once applied to the body, it granted a lasting buff. It was also a passive skill that activated automatically when under attack.
Summon Random Dragon Soul was a summoning skill. It connected to the Yellow Springs World of the dead and summoned an unpredictable dragon soul. This skill relied heavily on luck; the summoned dragon souls varied greatly in strength, and summoning a powerful one would be a huge gain. Such summons were temporary rather than permanent. Once the battle ended, the dragon soul would return to the Yellow Springs.
Imperial Majesty was another lasting buff. The Dragon Scale Sword had absorbed Imperial Dragon Qi from the earth veins, a feng shui phenomenon that influenced the imperial fortune of the realm. Holding this sword granted the blessing of imperial fortune, bestowing the charisma required of an emperor and increasing the Charm and Command attributes. Both attributes were extremely useful for ruling a faction.
Simply put, holding the Dragon Scale Sword gave one the feeling of being a True Dragon Son of Heaven.
As for Dragon-attribute skill effects +25%, automatic charging, and automatic repair, their names made their functions obvious.
Automatic charging replenished Dragon Qi, while automatic repair mended the damage on the Dragon Scale Sword, ensuring that it remained as good as new through the years.
