Background and History
Asura God stationed his divine will at the end of Hell Road to oversee his inheritance. It had waited over a thousand years without finding someone able to bear both his God-King godhood and the Asura Sword. Tang Chen became its inheritance guardian, but his Clear Sky Hammer was incompatible with the sword, and his cultivation foundation was insufficient 263.
The divine will took an interest in Tian Hao after observing his twin martial souls and independently developed Divine Slaughter's Domain. It considered him an exceptionally suitable inheritor. Tian Hao instead lured the will into an ambush in Hell Road: the Angel God's Will and Rakshasa God's Will suppressed it, and their allies seized the Asura Sword. Asura God's true body intervened elsewhere to save Tang Chen 263 284 285 286.
Asura God subsequently chose Tang San for his godhood and used Tang Chen's family to support him. He arranged other divine inheritances for the family and sought a way for Tang San to wield both Asura and Sea God power. Tang San grew wary of his intentions; Asura God's Will later placed an Asura trial mark on Xiao Wu, making her a bearer of the Asura Sword 483 484 543 652 669 670.
His later attempts to recover his power escalated into open conflict. Chen Xin beheaded him during a descent into the mortal realm, after which his head escaped and his remaining body was dismantled. Asura God later killed the Sea God to strengthen Tang San's Blue Silver Tyrant Spear. In the final confrontation, he burned his origin, body, soul, and divine sense to unleash the Asura Blood Sword against the Destruction and Life God-Kings. Traces of his divine will nevertheless appear later, including an avatar in Dai Yuhao 625 682 689 692 784.
Abilities and Authority
Asura inheritance
- His godhood is a God-King-level inheritance; the Divine Slaughter's Domain is required to activate its inheritance path 263 266.
- He can place trial marks and send divine power through his will and inheritance guardians. His will observes candidates through their marks 263 483 670.
- His will is distinct from his true body. Cutting it off from that body and its divine-power source limits its strength 283 285.
Judgment and combat
- Through the God Realm Central Hub, Asura God can judge and suppress God Realm deities other than God-Kings. His will used a portion of that authority in Asura Judgment, an attack directed at divine power, body, sense, and soul 626 653.
- Asura Blood Sword is his strongest offensive secret method. It burns his origin for greater attack power; in his final use, he burned his body, soul, and divine sense as well 683 689.
- He can forge weapons from Asura power and origin. After losing the original Asura Sword, he worked to create a replacement 483 654 683.
Equipment and Artifacts
- Asura Sword — his bonded Super God Artifact. It was seized in Hell Road and later refined into the Asura Seven Kill Sword by his opponents 283 285 653.
- Asura God Armor — armor fused with his god body; his enemies obtained it after dismantling his remnant body 625 660.
- Asura Demon Swords — weapons condensed from his divine power and origin, including one created for Tang Chen and others later taken by his opponents 483 625.
- New Asura Sword — a replacement he rushed to forge for the final conflict 654 683.
Relationships
- Tang Chen — inheritance guardian whom Asura God judged unfit to inherit his godhood; he later saved Tang Chen from death 263 286.
- Tang San — chosen inheritor and central figure in his plan to combine Asura and Sea God power. Tang San eventually became suspicious of that plan 483 543 652 669.
- Xiao Wu — received an Asura trial mark and was designated to bear the Asura Sword 670.
- Angel God and Rakshasa God — enemies who ambushed his divine will and took the original Asura Sword 285 653.
- Sea God — collaborator in Tang San's dual-godhood plans whom Asura God later killed to strengthen Tang San's spear 669 682.
- Destruction God-King — fellow God-King who opposed his God Realm policies and later fought him directly 483 688 689.
