Tian Hao escaped with the survivors and valuable relics as the empires regrouped, while he continued strengthening Spirit Hall and pursuing new cultivation methods.

• Xue Ye gave Tang Zhen defense maps and promised the Clear Sky Sect imperial support, while a hidden camera recorded their conversation.
• Tian Hao’s plans helped Spirit Hall prepare for the war, and Qian Daoliu sealed Angel Holy Sword into his Sacred Light Grass Sword to awaken a Sword Domain.

Tang Chen weighed Tian Hao’s claim to the Asura inheritance while the pair launched a surprise attack on the assembled Soul Masters.

• Tian Hao entered Slaughter City, defeated its gatekeepers, challenged the Black Silk Lady’s account of the city, and registered for the Hell Slaughter Arena.
• Tian Hao fought in the arena with his Clear Sky Heavy Sword and Seven Kill Domain, drawing the attention of Bibi Dong, Tang Chen, and the Asura God's Will.
• Tian Hao absorbed Slaughter City's Slaughtering Domain without killing his opponents, refined his killing will, and began developing an embryonic Divine Slaughter's Domain.
• Tang Chen returned to the Clear Sky Sect, told Tang Zhen about Tian Hao’s potential to inherit the Godhood, and agreed to help raise a suitable successor.

Tian Hao and his allies trapped the Asura God's Will, began building the Underworld Kingdom, and investigated the altered lightning tribulation at great cost. As plans formed around Xue Ye’s wedding and coronation, Tang Yuehua agreed to marry him while preparing to resist him.

• Tian Hao and Bibi Dong ambushed the Fallen Soul Masters, then Tian Hao absorbed the remaining Slaughtering Domain power as Tang Chen learned the Asura God had used him to refine Rakshasa God Power.
• Qian Ruyi revealed that she had become the Angel God and brought Spirit Hall’s fighters to prepare for the coming god war.
