Tony's Strengths

"I can't do anything either. I've tried every element I know of."

"If I don't ask you, I have no direction to even start."

"Is it that the world you superpowered individuals interact with has elements I don't understand at all, or have never even heard of?"

Tony Stark heard Harvey's words and showed some helplessness on his face as he spoke.

"It has nothing to do with the world superpowered individuals interact with, but it's not impossible to tell you."

Harvey considered it upon hearing this and spoke.

Originally, all they had to do was wait for S.H.I.E.L.D. to approach Tony Stark, and once they knew the problem Tony Stark was facing, they would provide him with help.

However, he could slightly expedite the process.

"It has nothing to do with the world superpowered individuals interact with?"

"Then which elements can be used as substitutes?"

"Or am I considering the chemical transformations from combining them?"

Tony Stark asked, extremely confused.

"It's not about those elements, but you need to create a new element to replace palladium and stabilize the Arc Reactor."

"That way, your Iron Man armor will be even more powerful."

Harvey said upon hearing this.

"Create a new element?"

Tony Stark's mind immediately began to race.

"Tony Stark, I remember your father was a genius scientist just like you."

"Perhaps you can gain some inspiration from what your father left behind."

Harvey reminded him.

"What my father left behind?"

"He left too suddenly... he didn't leave anything."

Tony Stark's expression turned somewhat complicated as he mentioned his father.

"Indeed, your father left you this company and immense wealth."

"But don't forget which party Stark Industries, founded by your father, was most closely connected with initially."

Harvey didn't state it directly but guided Tony Stark to discover it.

Upon hearing this, Tony Stark thought about his father's history of controlling Stark Industries, and combined with the organization most closely connected to Stark Industries now, an answer formed in his mind.

"But because of the Arc Reactor, Stark Industries' relationship with the military isn't as good as it used to be."

"And where am I supposed to get my father's belongings that he left with the military?"

Tony Stark considered the current situation and began to ponder.

"On the surface, your relationship with the military is a bit strained, which might make things difficult for you."

"But isn't there someone who has extended an olive branch to you?"

Harvey said upon hearing this.

"You mean that Department of Homeland Security?"

"Do they have that high of clearance?"

"You know, they consider it a high price to pay even to produce twenty million USD."

Tony Stark realized who Harvey was referring to when he mentioned the military extending an olive branch, but his tone was somewhat dismissive.

In his opinion, the ambition to form the Avengers Initiative was good, but in terms of status and power.

Tony Stark didn't think that Department of Homeland Security held a high position.

After all, it was only twenty million USD, not two hundred million, and they could call that a high price. That Department of Homeland Security was truly poor.

Or perhaps that Department of Homeland Security was heavily exploited, and they were called agents but were actually just unfortunate laborers.

Harvey, upon hearing that they had to go through layers of approval to produce twenty million USD, naturally knew Tony Stark was referring to Nick Fury's efforts to raise money to meet him.

"They might be a bit poor, but since they are called agents who specialize in handling strange incidents, their status and authority within the military should not be low."

"And whether their authority is high or not, you'll find out if you ask."

So Harvey also understood and spoke.

"Okay, I'll ask then."

Tony Stark decided to ask after hearing Harvey's words and thinking about it.

"Jarvis, help me contact Coulson."

Tony Stark instructed directly, and Jarvis immediately carried out the order.

Coulson answered within five seconds.

"Mr. Tony Stark, is there anything I can help you with?"

Coulson's voice immediately echoed in the underground research lab.

Because Coulson responded almost instantly, Tony Stark specifically glanced at Harvey.

Harvey, however, pretended not to see Tony Stark's look, which was a mix of showing off and complaint.

"Agent Coulson, my father, Howard Stark, had extensive contact with the military in the past and should have collaborated with them quite a bit."

"I was wondering if the military has any of my father Howard Stark's belongings?"

Tony Stark's speech had a slight pause as he said this, clearly finding it a bit complicated to bring up his father.

"Are there any remaining belongings of Howard Stark?"

"I can help you investigate the matter of your father."

"Please give me an hour. I will investigate clearly whether your father has any belongings that were not handed over to you."

Coulson heard that Tony Stark actually needed help, seeing it as a great opportunity to build friendship, so he agreed without any further ado.

"Okay, then I'll trouble you."

Tony Stark, hearing that they could actually help investigate, glanced at Harvey Anberaka and then said earnestly.

"Leave it to me."

Coulson responded after hearing this and hung up the communication.

"If he really helps me find it, then I guess I'll owe their agency a favor."

Tony Stark said, seeing Coulson's excited and swift attitude, as if he'd had a shot of adrenaline.

"Usually, to get something, you have to pay a price."

"But it's just getting back your father's remaining belongings. How significant that favor is depends on how you see it."

Harvey said indifferently upon hearing this.

"Returning belongings can indeed be considered returning property to its rightful owner. However, if I can discover a new element through my father's belongings."

"And improve the Arc Reactor, then this favor won't be insignificant."

"Of course, if it's truly developed, I won't forget the kindness of your reminder, Harvey Anberaka."

Tony Stark said upon hearing this.

"These are all minor matters."

Harvey smiled as he looked at Tony Stark upon hearing this.

Although Tony Stark was always narcissistic and arrogant, and often said unpleasant things with a sharp tongue, his clear sense of gratitude and resentment was always one of Tony Stark's strengths.

Even if Tony Stark didn't say it out loud, he would remember the kindness others had shown him in his heart.

As long as the opportunity arose, Tony Stark would find a way to repay that kindness.

Therefore, Harvey didn't mind giving Tony Stark a little guidance.

After all, once a friendly relationship was established, Tony Stark would be a very good friend.
