But when the two of them approached the village, they could not help but show wary expressions.

It was too quiet. This was nothing like how a normal village should be. And beneath that silence lingered a faint Scent of Blood.

"Something may have happened to this village. Looks Like we aren't the only ones after him," Shisui said softly, quietly drawing a Kunai.

"Yeah. Someone probably got here first." Habara's expression was grim. This was his target.

And it was the key to awakening his Mangekyo. How was he supposed to accept someone Bafflingly stealing his kill?

"Do you think it could be people from Cloud Hidden Village?" Habara asked quietly after forcing himself to calm down. "After all, he is their rogue shinobi."

"If it is Cloud Hidden Village, then this will be troublesome." Shisui had actually considered Cloud Hidden Village as well, and his expression turned unpleasant.

The relationship between Cloud Hidden Village and Konoha was extremely poor. Not only had the Second Hokage died at their hands, but they had also attacked Konoha during the Third Great Ninja War.

Five years ago, they had even used war as a threat to force Konoha to hand over Hyuga Hiashi, pushing their relationship to rock bottom.

Although Hyuga Hiashi was unharmed, because the body handed over had been Hizashi Hyuga's, this had dealt a tremendous blow to Konoha's image in the Shinobi World.

From the way they had died, it was clear they had tried to flee, but unfortunately, their attackers had not given them that chance.

Moreover, people were currently carrying their bodies toward the center of the village. They were probably planning to destroy them all together.

Shisui Could Not Help But curse under his breath at the sight, but he still restrained himself from acting.

What they needed to do now was determine exactly how many people the other side had. Only then could they be more certain of wiping them all out!

After waiting and scouting for some time, Habara and Shisui basically confirmed that there were only four shinobi operating here This Time.
