Beyond the realm, Gu Xingzhi floated in the air, holding one woman in each arm as he gazed into the dimness around him.
Specks of starlight occasionally emerged from the darkness. One star in particular shone exceptionally brightly, as though drawing his attention.
"Venerable, was that your arrangement?"
Gu Xingzhi noticed the dazzling star and casually spoke.
Li Niang and Su Lin looked at him in confusion.
"Husband, what Venerable? What arrangement?"
Gu Xingzhi shook his head with a smile and did not explain.
"Since that is the case, I shall follow your decision."
With that, he held the two women and flashed toward the star at incredible speed.
Gale winds howled around them, scraping against the green barrier covering all three and producing a shrill, unpleasant sound.
Though the two women were puzzled, they did not ask further.
Wherever Gu Xingzhi went, they would go.
The paths of cultivation of the two women had now opened. With Gu Xingzhi's assistance and their special physiques, they progressed rapidly.
Yet, they remained far behind Gu Xingzhi.
The three traveled through the Dim Starry Sky for an unknown length of time.
Just as they were about to approach the shining star, they found that it was seemingly close yet impossibly far away, and they could not enter.
Gu Xingzhi stared intently ahead, his brows tightly furrowed.
"What did this mean?"
He held the two women again and tried once more, but the result remained the same.
Finally, he formed a formation with a hand seal, hoping to use it to approach the star, but it still remained seemingly close yet impossibly far away.
Somewhat bewildered, he looked up and questioned the dim Void.
"Venerable, what did you mean by this?"
Unfortunately, the Void gave no reply.
Left with no choice, Gu Xingzhi
