The enormous disturbance instantly drew out the mysterious elder lurking in the shadows. He quickly appeared, staring incredulously at Sou Shou, who had transformed into a catfish.
"Th-This is impossible! Who are you? Who exactly are you?!"
Sou Shou frowned at his words. This was his first time meeting the mysterious elder, and he had no idea that this was the mysterious figure Ba Mie and the others had spoken of.
"Who are you?" With a whoosh, Sou Shou, having finished drawing in the special Origin Essence, returned to human form and landed before the mysterious elder.
The mysterious elder muttered to himself for a long while before finally smiling in relief. He respectfully bowed to Sou Shou.
"Old Man Chang Sheng pays his respects to High Lord!"
That was right. Only a Transcendence supreme expert countless times stronger than him could accomplish such a thing.
The man before him looked young, yet he could not sense the slightest trace of cultivation from him. Only that could explain it.
"Chang Sheng?" Sou Shou curled his lip.
Suddenly, Chang Sheng dropped to his knees before Sou Shou and began weeping bitterly.
"Senior, please help Chang Sheng leave this place!"
After Chang Sheng explained everything, Sou Shou understood. Linking it with what Ba Mie and the others had said, the man before him was the Mysterious Person.
"Mm, get up. This Seat grants it," Sou Shou said proudly.
"Thank you, High Lord!" Chang Sheng was overjoyed. Knowing that he would soon leave this place, he could not contain his excitement.
"After so many years, I'm finally leaving this sunless darkness."
A moment later, they returned to the place where Ba Mie and the others had been cultivating and comprehending.
Once they awoke, Sou Shou began communicating with those special Origin Essence powers.
