Hyuga Kei avenged Hizashi and destroyed the Hyuga clan before fleeing Konoha with Uchiha Izumi and gathering new allies. He joined Akatsuki, became Amegakure’s wartime commander, and led the Land of Rain against invading forces.

• Hyuga Kei joined the Anbu, stole Hiruko’s Chimera Technique, and used missions and research to strengthen his abilities while protecting Neji from the Caged Bird Seal.
• After the Hyuga elders tortured Hizashi to death and held Neji hostage, Kei killed the clan’s Main Branch and escaped Konoha with Uchiha Izumi.
• Kei fought Obito during the Uchiha massacre, rescued Izumi, absorbed bloodlines from the dead, and left Konoha as an S-rank Missing-nin.
• Kei erased Izumi’s memories of Itachi, rescued Uzumaki Yuka and Karin from Kusagakure, and agreed to cooperate with Obito in exchange for the God Tree’s fruit.
• Kei joined Akatsuki in Amegakure and recruited Deidara with Sasori, while Itachi confronted him over Izumi and warned him to stay away from Sasuke.
• As the Five Great Nations went to war, Pain appointed Kei commander of Amegakure’s defenses, with Konan, Sasori, and Kisame supporting him.
• Using the alias Kimura Takuya, Kei ambushed invading Sunagakure and Iwagakure forces with Konan, Kisame, and Sasori, then used Ibuse, water dragons, and the Tenseigan to strike them.

Hyuga Kei strengthened his power and influence, recruited allies, and manipulated the Chunin Exams to pursue his plans for Naruto, Sasuke, and Gaara. The arc left Gaara unconscious and Kei traveling with Hinata, Kiba, and Shino toward the Central Tower.

• Hyuga Kei drove the invading forces from the Land of Rain with Konan, then recruited Uchiha Hikari by freeing her from her sealed chamber.
• Hyuga Kei defeated Orochimaru, took control of him and Kabuto Yakushi, and began pursuing Sage Arts in Ryūchi Cave.
• Hyuga Kei joined Deidara and Sasori in attacking Sunagakure outposts, then arranged for Kabuto and Orochimaru to impersonate Rasa after Rasa was killed.
• Neji Hyuga defeated Sasuke in a duel and urged him to learn more about Uchiha Itachi and their clan’s history.
• Hyuga Kei entered Konoha with Karin Uzumaki and Uchiha Hikari, teased Naruto with clues about his parents, and arranged for Kabuto to kill Danzo.
• Hyuga Kei guided Naruto and Sasuke through the Chunin Exams, showed Naruto photographs of Minato and Kushina, and gave Naruto sealing techniques while placing a cursed seal on Sasuke.
• Hyuga Kei disguised himself as Chiba Kishu, rescued Hinata, Kiba, and Shino from Gaara, and helped them fight Gaara’s siblings.
• Hyuga Kei suppressed Gaara’s Tailed Beast chakra, returned him to Temari and Kankuro, and set out with Hinata, Kiba, and Shino toward the Central Tower.

Hyuga Kei exposed Danzo, used Naruto’s rampage and the Chunin Exams to force an alliance between Konoha and Sound Village, and gathered Sasuke and Neji under his protection. After capturing the Four-Tails and welcoming a Konoha delegation, he left Sasuke listening to Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi at his noodle shop.

• Hyuga Kei exposed Danzo’s schemes, defeated him, and used the Chunin Exams crisis to negotiate a treaty with Tsunade that made Sound ninja paid reinforcements for Konoha.
• Hyuga Kei left Konoha after Tsunade’s inauguration, while Naruto learned a fabricated account of the Third Hokage’s actions and Hinata received a secret messenger puppet from Kei.
• Hyuga Kei recruited Sasuke after his battle with Naruto, promised to train him to surpass Itachi, and brought him together with Neji in Sound Village.
• Hyuga Kei joined Akatsuki’s mission to capture Roshi, defeated the Four-Tails Jinchuriki, and helped extract the Four-Tails into the Demonic Statue of the Outer Path.
• Hyuga Kei welcomed Jiraiya and the Konoha delegation to Sound Village, then agreed to send Sound ninja to help Konoha oppose Iwagakure’s advance.
• Hyuga Kei gave Hinata and Hanabi chakra-made pendants and agreed to train Hanabi, while Sasuke listened as Naruto, Sakura, and Kakashi visited Kei’s noodle shop.

Hyuga Kei founded the Ninja World Federation, defeated forces from Sunagakure and Kumogakure, and used the conflict with Obito to take his Sharingan. Two years later, as Akatsuki captured Gaara, Kei sent Federation forces to support the rescue while Neji joined the mission and Kimimaro and Jugo held off Itachi.

• Hyuga Kei and Kabuto Yakushi built War Puppets, then Kei led Sound Village forces in defeating Iwagakure at the Land of Grass and helped negotiate the country’s independence.
• Hyuga Kei united six small nations into the Ninja World Federation, recruited Mui and the Land of Grass, and announced the new government to its people.
• The Federation routed Sunagakure and Kumogakure, and Hyuga Kei hosted a summit where the Five Great Nations recognized the Federation and established diplomatic relations.
• Hyuga Kei revived the four Hokage to explain his plans, then helped Konoha locate Obito and killed him after taking his Sharingan.
• Hyuga Kei fused Obito’s Mangekyō Sharingan into his own eyes, awakened his Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, and spent two years strengthening the Federation and preparing an Impure World Reincarnation army.
• After Deidara captured Gaara, Temari appealed to Hyuga Kei, who sent Federation forces to Sunagakure and helped cure Kankuro before the rescue team departed.
• Neji freed Tenten and Rock Lee from Kisame’s clone and joined them, while Kimimaro and Jugo stayed behind to hold off Itachi as Naruto’s team continued toward Gaara.
