Qian Renxue grew up without maternal affection, though her grandfather Qian Daoliu cherished her. Her mother, Bibi Dong, remained distant because Qian Renxue’s existence reminded her of the trauma inflicted by Qian Xunji. At age nine, Qian Renxue undertook an infiltration mission into the Heaven Dou Empire, adopting the identity of Crown Prince Xue Qinghe. 71 132

As Xue Qinghe, she witnessed Ye Feiyang annihilate a Soul Sage-led force attacking Supreme Academy. Impressed by his strength, she approached him while maintaining her male persona; Ye Feiyang recognized her disguise and deliberately tested her reaction. 31
