Background

Gu Yue Na was the injured master of the Soul Beasts, previously known as the Silver Dragon King. She remained concealed beneath the Lake of Life in the Star Dou Great Forest, avoiding detection by the God Realm while recovering from her injuries. At the time Ye Feiyang sought her out, she had recovered roughly half of her strength and regarded him as invincible in the lower realm, though beneath a Divine Official. 103 106

Ye Feiyang pursued a connection with her by seeking to take Zi Ji, Bi Ji, and the Auspicious Beast as disciples. Gu Yue Na initially resisted his advances and refused to become his disciple herself, citing the divide between humans and Soul Beasts. Nevertheless, she permitted him to ask Zi Ji and Bi Ji for their own decision. 106

After revealing her human form, she accepted the human name “Gu Yue Na,” formed from an ancient surname, the moonlike purity of her appearance, and Ye Feiyang's nickname for her, “Na Na.” 106
