A Gentleman's Revenge

Outside the Evil Demon Underground Palace, in the snowy wilderness.

Late at night, the wind and snow grew fiercer still.

Winter blizzards raged without end over Tai Chi Peak Lake. No one knew how much snow had fallen by now, and the drifts on the ground were unfathomably deep.

Amid the howling wind and bone-piercing frost, Lin Xiaoxiao and the Primordial Evil Demon stood in a pine forest.

"Why hasn't he come out today?" Lin Xiaoxiao huddled within her long black-and-white coat. Faint crimson lightning flickered in her scarlet eyes.

"Something happened." The Primordial Evil Demon glanced in that direction and spoke lightly.

Its body was enormous. Its steel-like wings spread wide, shielding Lin Xiaoxiao from the wind and snow.

"What happened?" Lin Xiaoxiao asked.

"A little trouble. He lost control. It's all that Heaven-Stealing Clan brat Li Tianming's fault, staying inside to court death for no reason!" the Primordial Evil Demon said coldly.

"Li Tianming went in too? What do you mean?" Lin Xiaoxiao's voice rose several notches as she stared coldly into the Primordial Evil Demon's eyes.

"Why are you getting so worked up? How is this my fault? Xuanyuan Yuheng already bore a grudge against him, yet he was still strutting around inside, making others see red. Xuanyuan Yuheng was influenced by the evil demon's will, which magnified the resentment in his heart and turned it into killing intent. He attacked him," said the Primordial Evil Demon.

"Xuanyuan Yuheng is one of the top disciples of the Skyorigin Sect! Then wouldn't he be in danger..."

"Don't worry. Judging from Xuanyuan Yuheng's emotions, he's currently beside himself with rage. Clearly, his attempt to kill someone failed."

"This Li Tianming has more tricks for preserving his life than anyone."

The Primordial Evil Demon said this with an indifferent expression.
