Why did Fang Yuan choose Transformation Dao?
After the battle at Yi Tian Mountain, Fang Yuan gained a new life. The question he pondered most was which path he should choose for his future cultivation.
In his past life, he had chosen Blood Dao because it yielded rapid results, possessed tremendous power, allowed one to sustain battle through battle, and required relatively few cultivation resources. Moreover, it had been the only decent opportunity he had encountered in his past life. To him, Blood Dao had offered the greatest prospects for development.
After his rebirth, he abandoned Blood Dao and chose Strength Dao because this was not the Great Era of Chaos in the Five Regions. Order was firmly established, and Blood Dao had no chance to rise. The other reason was that circumstances shaped the man. Fang Yuan searched through his memories and found opportunities suited to his current situation—opportunities he could obtain and make use of. These opportunities were all tied to Strength Dao.
In truth, both Blood Dao and Strength Dao had their drawbacks.
Blood Dao was in a poor state, with everyone crying out to beat its practitioners. Whether one was a Gu Master or a Gu Immortal, once one chose to cultivate Blood Dao and was discovered, one could only wait for the entire world to shun them.
Strength Dao was also declining. Although Hegemon Immortal Chu Du had added the Human Strength Jun Strength branch to Strength Dao, it could not conceal the awkward fact that Strength Dao was a setting sun beyond the western hills.
To be honest, neither of these paths was the best choice.
Fang Yuan had also summed it up: after his rebirth, he had obtained quite a few opportunities.
There was Wisdom Dao, Luck Dao, Theft Dao...
