Background / History

Primordial Beginning Immortal Venerable founded Heavenly Court approximately 3,879,687 years before the Longevity Heaven invasion. He promoted a sect-based system over bloodline families, believing organized sects would preserve and strengthen humanity against Otherworldly Humans. Heavenly Court was established as the model for this system. 1741 1742

Over time, it became Central Continent’s supreme sect and placed the Ten Great Ancient Sects beneath it. Its members are largely recruited from those sects, but admission requires at least Rank 8 cultivation, profound attainment in one’s path, combat strength, and alignment with Heavenly Court’s values. 957

Heavenly Court’s stated doctrine is to “conform to Heaven’s Will and act on behalf of Heaven.” Its prestige was historically tied to Fate Gu and its claim to defend the Human race. 957 1750

Three Immortal Venerables entered Heavenly Court across its history, while Hong Lian Demon Venerable was cultivated by it. Heavenly Court is a vast grotto-heaven situated within Primeval White Heaven. It has annexed fragments of the Primeval Nine Heavens and is described as their greatest surviving remnant. 2343

Its grotto-heaven contains the merged apertures of three Immortal Venerables and innumerable Rank 8 immortals. Its resources are sufficient for complete internal self-supply, and even its own members do not know how many Rank 8 Gu Immortals remain in slumber. 1071

Rebuilding Sky Watching Tower

After Sky Watching Tower Master’s death, Zi Wei Immortal coordinated Heavenly Court’s response to Shadow Sect, tasked Grandma Sha with rebuilding Sky Watching Tower, and deployed immortals to capture rogue organization members. 1070

Grandma Sha completed the reconstruction at the cost of her lifespan. The restored tower later enabled Heavenly Court’s direct intervention in the Dream Battlefield, where Dragon Duke ordered the execution of all Pure Dream Seeking True Bodies and any Gu Immortals attempting to flee. 1338 1362

Capture of You Hun

Heavenly Court captured You Hun Demon Venerable’s remnant soul and sealed it in Soul Suppression Hall. Zi Wei Immortal failed to extract information from him, but the court publicized the capture with supporting evidence, restoring and magnifying its prestige throughout the Five Regions. 1442

Fate War

Longevity Heaven invaded through weaknesses created by past Demon Venerable attacks, using Calamity Luck Altar to breach Heavenly Court’s palace defenses.
