Luckily, I was rich!
Yu Yongsheng looked at him and suddenly understood.
So he nodded. "Be careful."
He was at someone else's mercy, so he had endured it. But Qin Ze did not need to. He did not have to cater to Americans. Yu Yongsheng took off his gloves and handed them to Qin Ze, but Qin Ze shook his head and refused.
"Director, I want to spar with Martinez." Qin Ze turned to Davis.
It was not just Chinese people who loved a spectacle. The American onlookers were delighted to get another "fight match," especially since one contestant was a celebrity and the other was still Chinese.
Davis, on the other hand, had a headache. It was one thing for a martial arts instructor to get beaten up—he sided with Martinez—but Qin Ze was a celebrity with status, as well as a specially invited guest. If he got hurt, it would look bad, make things difficult for the crew, and might even affect filming.
"NO!" Davis flatly refused. "This ends here."
Qin Ze shrugged. "Even if you refuse, the sparring will continue. I think he feels the same way."
Martinez bared his teeth and stared fixedly at Qin Ze.
Beating Qin Ze was clearly more interesting than beating a martial arts instructor, because Qin Ze was Qin Baobao's manager. Martinez would be more than happy to let that woman see how powerful he was.
With that thought, he turned to look at Qin Baobao.
Her reaction left him dissatisfied. Not only was she not worried, upset, or nervous in the slightest, she was chatting and laughing with another beautiful woman beside her.
If his hearing had been a little better, he would have heard the conversation between Qin Baobao and Su Yu:
"How long can he last?"
"Ten seconds!"
