• Su Bai entered the Jade Mist Sect as an Outer Disciple, learned the Radiant Qi Refining Technique, and began cultivating with Zhou Chang and the other residents of Courtyard 32.
• Su Bai helped Wu Tian learn the introductory cultivation method, reached Qi Refining Layer One, and began taking missions to gain resources and experience.
• Su Bai accepted a Spiritual Field Task, mastered the Dewdrop Technique, and spent months tending fields while advancing to Qi Refining Stage Three.

Su Bai advanced through sect missions and a village massacre led to his punishment being exchanged for service in the Blood River Secret Realm. After entering the realm, he gathered spirit medicines and turned inland to search for Li Xuan.

• Su Duanqiu stayed at Lake Heart Isle, taught Su Bai Sword Qi, then later returned with the Immortal Palace and killed Bai Daoyuan and Yang Sheng while taking Jiang Han away.
• Su Bai joined Wang Jue to harvest Yin Yang Twin Lotuses, reached Qi Refining Layer Six, and learned the Profound Sword True Essence Art from a Jade Slip he had copied for Zhao Shanhe.
• Su Bai took charge of a mountain-gate patrol outpost, but after his patrol failed to prevent the slaughter of Stone Village, he pursued and killed the Crown Prince responsible.
• Sun Ning offered to waive Su Bai’s detention punishment if he gathered spirit herbs in the Blood River Secret Realm, and Su Bai accepted and prepared for the expedition.
• Liu Chengfeng warned Su Bai that Li Xuan had killed Jade Mist Sect disciples, gave him two Fire Dragon Technique talismans, and offered a Long Sword for killing Li Xuan.
• After entering the Blood River Secret Realm, Su Bai followed the river, collected spirit medicines, and took the Blood Infant Fruit after two Biyou Palace Disciples were dragged into the water.

Su Bai killed Li Xuan, won promotion to the Jade Mist Sect’s Inner Sect, and joined the Sword Academy. After completing a mission and joining Jiang Han in raiding the Chen Family, Su Bai returned to cultivate and chose Zhao Hanshuang as his next copy target.

• Su Bai joined forces with Jiang Han to kill Li Xuan, then collected Li Xuan’s Storage Bags and split the spirit herbs with Jiang Han.
• Su Bai returned from the Blood River Secret Realm with spirit medicines worth eighteen thousand Spirit Stones, helping the Jade Mist Sect win first place and earning promotion to the Inner Sect.
• Liu Chengfeng gave Su Bai the Azure Dragon Sword, and Su Bai joined Xu Shangran’s Sword Academy, where Zhao Shanhe taught him the Dragon Roaming Sword Control Technique.
