Background / History

Wu Yong fled eastward while pursued by enemies after receiving guidance from Lin Baiyu, who told him to travel to the farthest High Wall at the edge of civilization. There, Wu Yong founded Dawn Academy—not primarily to educate students, but to select exceptional talent capable of helping him reach The Inland. 680

During the fall of Cloud Dragon Academy, Wu Yong entered the first trial area of its inheritance system and failed the Heart Demon Secret Realm trial. The resulting heavenly-demon invasion left him with a lasting aberration; he escaped through an emergency passage without access to the trial area's advanced treatment equipment. 787
