It's You, Little Wolf Girl!

"Not good!"

Realizing what was happening, Donald immediately retreated. Of course he recognized that serum—it had been developed at their Experimental Base specifically to temporarily enhance mutants' abilities.

Once Wolverine injected it, his strength would return to its absolute peak until the drug wore off.

Wolverine at his peak was undoubtedly the most terrifying assassin.

"Sniper, target Wolverine!"

However, the response from the radio was:

"X-23 and Experiment Subject 757 have been spotted. They're heading this way."

"Release X-24 to deal with them. You keep sniping Wolverine."

After having one of his men take over, Donald gave the sniper his orders.

He had no idea how X-23 and Experiment Subject 757 had escaped their tight encirclement with Silent Step, but it didn't matter. As long as X-24 was deployed, the two of them would be dealt with.

According to the test data, X-23 was absolutely no match for X-24. And no matter how accurate Experiment Subject 757's shooting was, he could not harm X-24. They were completely countered.

The priority now was Wolverine, who had injected the drug and returned to his peak. In the span of just a few exchanges, he had already killed ten of Donald's elite men amid the heavy encirclement and Rain of Bullets.

If they did not use the sniper rifle to restrict his movements, Donald and everyone remaining might all be harvested by Wolverine.

No wonder the boss was so fond of Wolverine.

"Roger!"

A shot rang out from the sniper's position, and Wolverine was hit and knocked down by the sniper rifle. The others immediately swarmed him, suppressing him with gunfire to keep him from getting back up.

On the other side, George and Little Wolf Girl were sprinting toward the bus.

They had not escaped from the encirclement. They had left the factory before the enemy could surround it and hidden behind nearby obstacles.

Once everyone's attention had been drawn to Wolverine, they quietly rushed toward the vehicle that was clearly holding X-24.

As long as they could take out X-24 first, they would have won more than half the battle.

What George had not expected was that the enemy would take them so seriously that they had even brought a sniper. That had not happened in the movie.

Fortunately, he had brought the quite formidable Little Wolf Girl with him just in case.

If that sniper aimed his gun at him... Well, he would have to raise Little Wolf Girl as a shield first.

With Little Wolf Girl's healing ability, even if she were hit by a sniper rifle, she would not be killed.

It was somewhat cruel, but if it really came to that, there would be no other choice.

This was a fight to the death. If they failed, it would not be just him who died, but everyone—including those thirty-odd mutant children.

Little Wolf Girl's body was too small to cover his whole body. He could only lift her up to shield his upper body, where there were more vital spots. As for his two legs as he ran, they would not be so easy to hit.

Besides, he had Wizard bloodline and astonishing vitality. Even if he was accidentally shot, as long as it was not a vital area, he would not die so easily.

Once he got closer, he could affect the sniper. He could not yet alter the trajectory of sniper rounds, but he could affect the rifle itself, making it shake and impossible to aim properly.

Four elite soldiers got off the bus alongside X-24, but rather than following X-24 over, they set up a camera, apparently intending to record X-24's battle.

Those soldiers knew full well how terrifying X-24 was. They did not believe X-23 and Experiment Subject 757 could possibly win.

Recording footage of X-24 fighting was an order from higher up. This was also a live combat test for X-24, so the video naturally had to be analyzed afterward.

As X-24 drew closer and closer, George grabbed Little Wolf Girl by the collar, then raised his submachine gun and fired two shots at X-24.

He did not immediately use the Adamantium bullets. If he killed X-24 now, the sniper would react at once, and the others would focus their attacks on him as well.

That would be dangerous.

Unless it was absolutely necessary, he still did not want to use Little Wolf Girl as a shield.

So, while the enemy had lowered their guard, he needed to get as close as possible. Once the distance entered his ability's range, this sharpshooter would have room to show what he could do.

Bang! Bang!

The two bullets flew straight for X-24's eyes. Bullets could not kill X-24, but even damaged eyes would need time to heal.

Seeing George fire at him, X-24 immediately raised his arm in front of himself.

Unfortunately, George's bullets did not travel in straight lines. Before reaching X-24's arm, they suddenly curved through the air and still struck X-24's eyes with perfect accuracy.

X-24's eyeballs burst, and he immediately stopped with a scream.

His eyes could heal, but that did not lessen the pain in the slightest.

"It's you, Little Wolf Girl!"

Before X-24's eyes could recover, George hurled Little Wolf Girl with all his strength.

"Go take out that sniper."

Little Wolf Girl flew over X-24's head, landed, rolled tactically, and sprang to her feet. Without hesitation, she continued charging toward the sniper and four soldiers by the bus.

By then, X-24's eyes had already healed. He immediately slashed at George with one claw, moving so fast that George had no time to react.

Slash!

Although George retreated in time, the submachine gun in his hand was still cut in half by a single swipe of X-24's claw.

The second slash immediately came for George's neck.

"He really is vicious."

George sucked in a breath, then unleashed his Magnetism Control at full force, concentrating it on X-24's arm.

He was not Magneto, capable of effortlessly controlling Wolverine, whose body was full of Adamantium. But several dozen pounds of force acting on X-24's arm could definitely have a considerable effect.

Sure enough, under the influence of magnetism, X-24's arm paused abruptly, allowing George to dodge again.

George did not linger in the fight. He took the opportunity to circle around X-24 and charge toward the bus as well.

Feeling that George was toying with him, X-24 instantly flew into a rage, turned around, and continued chasing after him.

George did not confront him head-on at all. He knew he could not overpower X-24, so he merely kept using magnetism to affect X-24's limbs, skillfully dodging X-24's attacks again and again while steadily closing in on the bus.

There was no helping it. He had gained his abilities too recently. Even though they had been strengthened by his Wizard bloodline, he had not fully developed them yet.

Originally, this body's limit for Magnetism Control was one hundred pounds of force. At first, he could only use ten pounds. Later, after gaining Wizard bloodline, he could now use several dozen pounds.

If he had a few more years to adapt, his fully developed limit would probably reach several hundred pounds of force.

Several hundred pounds would be enough to lift X-24 into the air and toss him around however he wanted.

Or, if he spent more time learning magic, even a Stunning Spell could easily knock X-24 down.

In short, his future was promising, but he was not there yet. For now, this was the only way he could fight.
