A Sequence Five Apostle of Desire was about as fragile as an egg before George. Even after transforming into a demon and using all sorts of powerful demonic magic,

he still could not withstand George's simple slap.

However, when he killed Jason Beria and used Soul Search to read his memories, he discovered something interesting.

Not long ago, Jason had accepted a commission from a mysterious Beyonder.

That person had hired him to assassinate Duke Negan.

Originally, there was no way he would have accepted such a task. After all, he had spent more than a decade cultivating this perfect, flawless identity.

If he assassinated Duke Negan, leaving aside the danger, this identity would certainly be exposed afterward.

But the reward offered was simply too high.

A Blasphemy Card containing the complete Divine Path and all the knowledge from Sequence Nine to Sequence Zero—the Abyss Sequence of his own family.

How could he refuse?

His family did indeed possess the Abyss Sequence, but only up to Sequence Four, Devil. They did not have the three Sequences above it.
