Colin condensed a silver-white greatsword in his hand and instantly entered a combat-ready state.
However, he did not rashly launch an attack. His spirituality gave no warning, and his battle instincts, honed through long experience, detected no malice either.

He saw blue skies beyond the door, saw the sun beyond it, saw the boundless sea, and felt the vitality brimming on the other side.

His reason told him this was impossible, that some sort of illusion must have deceived his senses.
