"George, what are you doing here?"
A twin-tailed girl in a white T-shirt jumped straight down from her aircraft. When she saw George standing beside the fallen robbers, surprise appeared on her face.
"Miss Videl, this student stepped in and helped take care of these vicious robbers. What a young hero!"
The police chief in charge walked over, looking at Videl and George with a sigh of admiration.
Videl stared at George in disbelief.
"What? You took down these robbers?"
How could she not know George? He was her classmate, a quiet and obedient student who only ever buried himself in his studies. His grades had consistently ranked among the top three in the class.
Forget these robbers—even girls their age who exercised a little could probably make him cry with one punch.
"I've been working out lately, and I also signed up at a martial arts school to learn some fighting techniques."
George smiled as he explained to Satan's daughter.
Videl examined George carefully, then nodded.
"You do look a lot stronger, but you should still stay away from situations like this in the future. You were just lucky today."
She usually devoted all her energy to martial arts and helping the police fight crime. Apart from a few classmates she was particularly close to, she did not know the others very well.
She only knew of George because he always ranked in the top three of the class.
So she naturally had no idea what changes George had gone through lately or that he had joined a martial arts school.
"Today was an accident. I only acted because I happened to spot a chance to ambush them."
George did not argue with Videl. He knew she was not mocking him; she was genuinely trying to warn him.
