Ch. 789Believe in The Fool, Gain Eternal Life! (Part 1)

George used a giant Angelic appearance to absorb the plague in Backlund, heal its victims, and proclaim The Fool, leaving tens of thousands converted and the Despair Witch cornered. He then appeared in his infant form to capture her and seek a Sequence Four Potion in exchange.

  • George suspected the Loen Royal Family had cooperated with the Witch Cult to use the plague as cover for its reforms and the Black Emperor ritual.
  • George sent Chris home, formed a Thought Body as Passerby A, and appeared over Backlund as an Angel serving The Fool.
  • George absorbed the plague, healed the afflicted civilians, and declared, “Believe in The Fool, gain eternal life!”
  • The rescued civilians knelt and converted to The Fool, while the Despair Witch, the churches, and the royal family were stunned by the appearance of the unknown deity and Angel.
  • The Despair Witch tried to flee Backlund, but George’s infant true body stopped her so he could capture her and exchange her with Crestet for a Sequence Four Potion.

Ch. 790Holy Infant George (Second Update)

George confronted and defeated the Despair Witch, Panatia, after she attacked him and tried to escape through the Mirror World. He searched her memories and discovered her mission in Backlund, including a plan to prepare a vessel for the Primordial Witch’s descent.

  • The Despair Witch recognized George and attacked him with invisible threads, disease, black flames, and ice spears.

Ch. 791Heading to Nameless Island (First Update)

George captured Panatia, the Despair Witch responsible for the Backlund fog, and traded the royal family’s secret alliances to the Church of the Dark Night Goddess for clues about later Diviner Potions. After confirming Roselle was still alive and locating Nameless Island, George gathered Bernadette and went to bring Klein along before setting out to rescue him.

  • George learned from Panatia’s memories that the royal family had worked with the Witch Cult and Aurora Society to stage the fog, prepare rituals, and support George III’s advancement.
  • George captured Panatia and delivered her to Crestet, then shared intelligence about the royal family’s plans in exchange for clues about later Diviner Potions.
  • George contacted Bernadette and told her he had found Nameless Island and confirmed that Roselle was still alive.
  • Bernadette arrived in Backlund, and George offered to fly her directly to the island instead of traveling by ship.
  • George went to Tingen to bring Klein along because Klein had ties to Roselle.

Ch. 792Another Clash with the Fallen Mother God (Second Update)

George brought Klein and Bernadette to the island where Roselle’s soul was trapped, despite its True God-level danger and the power of the Fallen Mother God. When the island’s creatures and the Fallen Mother God attacked, George unleashed Fairy Law and erased the threats.

  • George introduced Klein to Bernadette and flew them from Backlund to a mysterious island.
  • Bernadette recognized the island as her father Roselle’s likely final mausoleum, while George sensed Roselle’s trapped soul and the Fallen Mother God’s power.
  • George reassured Klein and Bernadette that he could handle the Fallen Mother God, then brought them to the mausoleum’s entrance.
  • The island’s treants and Beyonder creatures attacked as the Fallen Mother God’s power began making the three companions pregnant.
  • George purged the power from himself and Klein, while Bernadette used her Sage’s Headband to protect herself.
  • George cast Super Magic: Fairy Law, which made the treants, Beyonder creatures, and Fallen Mother God’s power vanish.

Ch. 793Some People Are Alive, Yet Already Dead

George used Fairy Law to purge the Fallen Mother God's corruption from Roselle and reunite him with Bernadette. After father and daughter spoke privately, Bernadette teased Roselle about his diary and the Witch as they left the mausoleum.

  • George revealed True God-level power by destroying the enemies outside Roselle's Mausoleum, then led Bernadette and Klein inside.
  • Bernadette used Eye of Seeing to reveal Roselle's corrupted soul, and George used Fairy Law to remove the Fallen Mother God's influence.
  • Roselle recognized George and Klein as fellow countrymen after they exchanged Mandarin phrases, then embraced Bernadette while George and Klein waited outside.
  • Klein asked whether George had shared Roselle's diary with Bernadette, and George admitted he had read her a small portion, including one about the Witch.
  • After more than an hour, Bernadette teased Roselle about finding another Witch, and George quietly offered Klein sunflower seeds.

Ch. 794I Really Only Have Sequence Five (Second Update)

Roselle explained to George, Klein, and Bernadette how the Fallen Mother God had corrupted him and why he had remained trapped on the island. He offered George knowledge of the twenty-two pathways in return for the rescue, and the chapter ended with George revealing that he truly was Sequence Five but had power beyond the normal pathways.

  • Roselle told George and Klein that he had learned Earth was their home and that they could not return, then explained his transmigration misunderstanding to Bernadette.

  • George asked Roselle to share the Diviner Sequence knowledge first because he planned to advance to Sequence Four.
  • Roselle and Bernadette questioned George’s claim that he was only Sequence Five, and George revealed his aura while explaining that he had power outside the normal pathways.

Ch. 796Plan for His Return to Life (First Update)

George learned the higher sequences of the Diviner pathway and devised a plan with Roselle to delay his resurrection until George III's godhood ritual. After hiding Roselle in Origin Castle, George returned home and confronted the Magic Lamp, which questioned how a Sequence Five could threaten it.

  • George reviewed the abilities of the Diviner pathway's higher sequences, including the powers of an Ancient Scholar, Miracle Invoker, Attendant of Mysteries, and The Fool.
  • George proposed that Roselle wait until the Luen Royal Family's godhood ritual, then return to life by taking the Black Emperor Uniqueness and Beyonder characteristics prepared for George III.
  • Roselle agreed to the plan, and George said he would conceal him inside Origin Castle until the final moment.
  • George placed Huang Tao in Origin Castle, sent Klein back to Tingen, obtained the Magic Lamp from Bernadette, and returned to his home in Backlund.
  • George entered his own world and took out the Magic Lamp, whose spirit sensed his threat and asked how a Sequence Five could endanger it.

Ch. 797Devouring the Lamp God (Second Update)

  • George learned that the Lamp God had been the Primal Creator’s third child, known as the Child of Chaos, and had lost his characteristics after being tricked by the Celestial Worthy.
  • George returned home and found that devouring the Child of Chaos’s spiritual energy had raised his own spiritual energy to True God level.

Ch. 798Heading to the Hornachis Mountains (First Update)

George obtained the Sequence Four Weirdo Potion and clues to later Fool Pathway ingredients, which pointed to the dangerous Hornachis Mountains. After Roselle explained the Antigonus family’s connection to the mountains, George flew there to search for the ingredients.

  • Crestet gave George the Weirdo Potion and a sealed document, then explained that the Pope had agreed to George III’s godhood ritual under certain conditions.
  • George learned that the Fool Pathway formulas and ingredient clues were in the Hornachis Mountains and concluded that the Seven Gods’ neutrality would help his plans for Roselle’s return.
  • George visited Origin Castle and asked Roselle about the mountains while Roselle and Klein played a game.
  • Roselle told George that the Antigonus family controlled the Fool Pathway and that Charon had vanished in the mountains after seeking the family’s notes.
  • George left Origin Castle and flew toward the Hornachis Mountains to gather the ingredients before dawn.

Ch. 799Mist Town's Gains (Second Update)

George entered the sealed town of Mist Town in the Hornachis Mountains, where he found marionettes, a Sequence Three Beyonder characteristic, and Charon’s Historical Gap Image. Ch. 801Celestial Worthy Appears (Second Update)

  • George wondered why the Goddess of the Night had allowed him to enter the concealed hall, then decided to use Antigonus as a benchmark for his strength.
  • George attacked Antigonus with Giant’s Fist, but Antigonus reversed the punch with Fooling time and summoned a mass of powerful tentacles.
  • George froze time throughout the hall and struck Antigonus, who escaped the blow by replacing himself with a Spirit Worm.
  • Antigonus used Fooling and Reassembly to graft the concept of a planet and send it crashing toward George, who split it apart.
  • George unleashed Fairy Law, leaving Antigonus barely alive, then approached to recover the Fool’s Uniqueness and search his memories.
  • Antigonus transformed into a young man whose majesty and eeriness made George identify him as Fu Sheng Xuan Huang Tian Zun.

Ch. 802Celestial Worthy, the World Has Changed (First Update)

Celestial Worthy took control of Antigonus's injured body and tried to reclaim Origin Castle from George. George's seals stopped it, but Celestial Worthy then planned to make George lose control while the hidden Sequence Zero of the Darkness Sequence remained a threat.

  • George's attack wounded Antigonus and weakened the Goddess of the Night's seal, allowing Celestial Worthy to suppress Antigonus and take temporary control of his body.
  • George welcomed the chance to gain Celestial Worthy's memories, which included knowledge of the Fool, Door, and Error Pathways and how to become a pillar.
  • Celestial Worthy manifested Origin Castle and tried to draw it back so he could regain the power of an Old One.
  • George used his seals to stop Origin Castle in midair, preventing Celestial Worthy from reclaiming it.
  • Celestial Worthy recognized that the world had changed and planned to make George lose control so he could use him against the hidden Sequence Zero of the Darkness Sequence.

Ch. 803Goddess of the Night Descends (Second Update)

George sealed the Fool Pathway characteristics within him, defeated Celestial Worthy’s attack, and learned how to accommodate the Door and Error Pathways. George agreed to help her against the God of War in exchange for her help reviving Roselle, and she began outlining her plan.

  • The Goddess of the Night apologized for testing George and explained that she had suspected he was the revived Celestial Worthy.
  • George accepted her apology and asked why she had allowed the royal family to gain another Black Emperor; she revealed that she had nearly finished absorbing Shinigami's characteristics and Uniqueness but needed others to think she could not act.
  • George deduced that the Goddess of the Night planned to provoke Bader, the God of War, into starting a divine war, and she confirmed it.
  • George offered to help her deal with the God of War if she helped him revive Roselle, then explained his plan involving the royal family's advancement to the Black Emperor.
