The instant Charlotte's clear cry rang out, Wu Yan and the others clearly felt a surging torrent of magic power flow from Charlotte's body into Sigmund's enormous form like an invisible current.
"Roar—!"
Immediately afterward, blue ghostly light flickered along the lines between the scales on Sigmund's long neck. As though gathering something, the light gradually dimmed from bottom to top before finally converging into a dazzling sphere of light within Sigmund's gaping dragon maw.
"Then..." Gazing at Sigmund as it gathered its attack, Wu Yan raised his hand, palm facing Ikaros.
"It's time for us to try an Automaton Master's fighting style too..."
As his words fell, magic power surged wildly within Wu Yan, all of it flowing toward his raised palm and forming a brilliant, dazzling golden halo that gradually rippled outward.
At the same time, Ikaros felt a dense surge of magic power erupt from deep within her body, filling every inch of her. Combat functions that she had previously been unable even to activate suddenly became active.
Ikaros abruptly raised her head. Her aquamarine pupils shifted slightly, turning dark crimson as an illusory rectangular frame resembling a targeting reticle appeared over them.
Her pink hair billowed up, and a pure white halo appeared above Ikaros's head. With a whoosh, a pair of pink wings suddenly spread from her back without warning, scattering pink feathers through the air.
As if it had been perfectly timed, a ray of sunlight happened to shine down from the sky, falling onto Ikaros.
Ikaros closed her eyes and slowly floated upward, carried by her pink wings while pink feathers danced around her.
She looked exactly like a real angel descending!
