The Real Reason for Getting Along

The Little Light Orb playfully bounced twice, darting up and down in Wu Yan's room. After circling the room once, it suddenly trembled and quickly plunged into Wu Yan's body, merging into him.

Wu Yan, a strange expression on his face, touched his body. It didn't seem like anything had changed, but Wu Yan could feel that there was an added sensation within his body, like adding a little water to a glass that was already half full.

Is this what the system meant by life fusion?

Wu Yan narrowed his eyes, feeling around his body as he turned his gaze to the girl in front of him.

The girl's pretty face began to move. She murmured softly, her eyelids fluttering as if she had just woken up. Her pupils, the same color as her hair, were filled with a hint of confusion as she opened them.

The girl blinked a few times, tilted her head, and looked around. Then, she turned her gaze to the only 'living person' present. The two of them locked eyes, and remained frozen in place.

The girl's direct gaze made Wu Yan feel a little uncomfortable. Never mind that she was a two-dimensional character he was exceptionally fond of, even being stared at by an ordinary girl would make him feel a bit embarrassed, even though Wu Yan's skin had been honed to be quite thick.
