Little Light Orb bounced playfully twice, darting up and down through Wu Yan's room. After circling the room once, it suddenly trembled and shot into Wu Yan's body, melting into him.
A hint of bewilderment appeared on Wu Yan's face as he touched his body. There did not seem to be any change, yet he could feel that something had been added to this body of his, like adding a little more water to a glass that was only half full.
Was this the life fusion the system had mentioned?
Wu Yan narrowed his eyes. As he felt around his body, he turned his gaze toward the girl before him.
The girl's lovely face began to stir. She let out a soft murmur, her eyelids trembling as though she had just awakened. Her eyes, the same color as her hair, opened with a trace of confusion.
The girl blinked a few times, tilted her head, and looked around. Then she fixed her gaze on the only "living person" present. Their eyes met, and they remained locked in a standoff.
The girl's direct gaze made Wu Yan feel slightly uneasy. Never mind that she was a two-dimensional character he liked immensely—even if an ordinary girl kept staring at him like that, anyone would feel a little embarrassed, no matter how thick-skinned Wu Yan had become.
