Background

Wu Yan arrives in a new world as an unnamed young man and chooses “Wu Yan” as a fresh identity. The System immediately registers that name as his user identity, beginning his life as a transmigrant with access to exchanges, missions, and character status screens. 1

He initially survives through System-purchased skills and equipment, including Swordsmanship Proficiency and the Kusanagi Sword. After a month of fighting magical beasts, he becomes capable of confronting a Level 20 Tiger-bodied Magic Wolf despite recognizing the substantial gap between their levels. 2 4

During an Instance World set in Hayate the Combat Butler, Wu Yan enters Hakuhou Academy under a System mission. He becomes closely associated with student council president Katsura Hinagiku, serving as her butler and winning her over through his cooking. 12 16
