Chapter 996: No, We Won
"I understand." The Spirit Empress looked at Wang Ye and nodded.
Wang Ye smiled.
Talking to smart people really was effortless.
"State your terms," said the Spirit Empress. "If your demands are too excessive, I'll negotiate with the Force Race myself."
"No matter what terms I offer, you'll still negotiate with the Force Race, won't you?" Wang Ye said.
The Spirit Empress smiled calmly.
"You may be overestimating yourselves and underestimating the Force Race," said Wang Ye. "In the Force Race's eyes, you are defeated generals now, with little value for cooperation. More importantly, the Force Race will fear that you'll take advantage of them."
"But I'm different. I'm helping the Force Race wholeheartedly. Compared to taking Nature Star, the reward I get is merely the tip of the iceberg."
"Who do you think the Force Race will be more inclined toward?"
The Spirit Empress looked at Wang Ye with her beautiful eyes and said softly, "Go on. I'm listening."
This woman really was steady.
Her emotions were stable, her mind meticulous. She was an exceptionally difficult opponent.
"I don't want much. Just like when I helped the Force Race before, three conditions," Wang Ye said bluntly.
"First, I want control over the Self-Improvement Alliance for the next one hundred thousand years."
The Spirit Empress pondered for a moment and shook her head. "It won't take that long. Ten thousand years will be enough. If you need it, we can even step forward to help humanity."
"Forget it. I'm afraid the Heavenly Race might misunderstand," said Wang Ye. "Ten thousand years isn't enough. After the war among the Low-Dimensional Races, the situation will still need to be stabilized. Fifty thousand years at minimum."
"Thirty thousand years," said the Spirit Empress.
"Fine." Wang Ye agreed reluctantly.
