Thor Klune knew that Athrun Zala, piloting the Aegis Gundam, was rushing towards the Archangel from the front.

Behind them, the Duel, Buster, and Blitz Gundams surrounded the Archangel, completely captured by ZAFT.

Thor Klune's inner monologue was a constant stream of complaints:

This world's Earth Federation Forces have truly brought this upon themselves. But then again, in the Gundam universe, the Earth Federation military never fails to court disaster. Wouldn't it be better to secretly build Gundams on their own territory? Every time they have to build them outside their own borders, and most of the time they end up being stolen. While this is the editor's fault, since there's a Gundam world, the editor is just like a TV antenna. They're only responsible for receiving signals and then converting them into animation. It's not like that Creation God is a otaku who materialized his favorite worlds. If that were the case, I'd want a stack of such Creation Gods. Then I'd have the chance to roam through all sorts of anime worlds, hee hee hee.

Kira Yamato, piloting the Strike Gundam and sortieing, soon encountered the Aegis Gundam piloted by Athrun Zala directly in front of the Archangel.

The Duel, Buster, and Blitz Gundams behind the Archangel also began to spread out, preparing to encircle and attack the Archangel.

Mwu La Flaga shouted loudly, "Begin interception! What is the C.I.C. doing?"

Nataru Bagiruru glanced at Mwu La Flaga in a panic, then immediately spoke.

All twelve of the Archangel's large aft missiles launched towards the Duel, Buster, and Blitz Gundams behind it.

However, the Duel, Buster, and Blitz Gundams were not to be outdone, and they shot down the incoming large missiles one after another.

They continued to rapidly approach the Archangel.

Meanwhile, in the front, the Strike Gundam and the Aegis Gundam weaved back and forth.

If Thor Klune could see this scene, he would know that Kira and Athrun were definitely engaged in a fierce verbal argument.

Before long, the Duel Gundam left the Archangel's vicinity to assist Athrun Zala, preparing to attack the Strike Gundam.

The Buster and Blitz Gundams continued to launch fierce attacks on the Archangel.

Kira Yamato, piloting the Strike Gundam, saw the Archangel being surrounded and attacked by the Buster and Blitz Gundams and wanted to go back to defend it.

However, Athrun Zala, piloting the Aegis Gundam, blocked his path, forcing the Strike Gundam to retreat in the opposite direction of the Archangel.

The Aegis Gundam pressed its attack, and the Strike Gundam could only continue to retreat.

Just then, the Duel Gundam arrived and launched a series of attacks on the Strike Gundam with its beam gun.

Caught between the Aegis Gundam and the Duel Gundam, the Strike Gundam was in a critical situation. Kira Yamato, piloting the Gundam, was extremely tense and covered in sweat.

However, the shockwave from the missile explosions still violently shook the Archangel, causing a slight tremor within the ship's hull.

Under the Buster Gundam's fierce assault, a beam gun finally struck the Archangel's hull.

Fortunately, it did not penetrate the Archangel's armor, but the impact force generated by the beam gun.

Nataru Bagiruru, sensing the danger, immediately gave orders.

"Bottom anti-air auto vulcan turret system, engage."

Mwu La Flaga added.

"Attack with the single linear cannon, 30 degrees to the lower left, 20 degrees to starboard."

The Archangel continuously performed high-speed turns, adjusting its defensive angle.

The refugees inside the Archangel were also thrown around by the ship's sudden maneuvers.

At the same time, the Archangel opened fire with its twin high-energy beam cannons, continuously shooting at the Buster Gundam and Blitz Gundam.

Seeing the beam cannons attacking them head-on, the Buster Gundam and Blitz Gundam could only abandon their attacks and continuously dodge and evade.
