Thor Kni recovered the New DG Cells, then released the Buster Gundam, taking its right arm and Assault Shield System before quickly dodging away.

Having lost the weapon on its right arm, the Buster Gundam could only use its Head Vulcan Cannon as it rapidly pulled away from the Strike Gundam.

It quickly moved near the modified Moebius piloted by Thor Kni and directly fired its left-arm Claw Anchor at him.

It wanted to reclaim its right arm and Assault Shield System, since the Buster Gundam's Beam Rifle and Hyper Velocity Armor Piercing Rounds were all mounted on them.

Seeing the left-arm Claw Anchor flying toward him, Thor Kni immediately spun 180 degrees to evade it.

He then used the Wave Sword on the mechanical arm to sever the Claw Anchor's cable, leaving the Buster Gundam with one less weapon.

The Buster Gundam's Claw Anchor became the second piece of spoils of war from Thor Kni's first sortie.

Having lost its weapons, the Buster Gundam immediately disengaged from Artemis Military Base and prepared to retreat.

At the same time, Artemis Military Base was also under attack from ZAFT outside.

The Gundam Blitz and Duel Gundam had already approached Artemis Military Base.

The Duel Gundam raised its beam gun and continuously fired precise shots at the fixed Defense Cannons around the base's perimeter.

The Gundam Blitz went all out, its Shotgun Launcher and High Energy Concentrated Beam Rifle alternating in an unending barrage.

Having finished its escort mission, the Duel Gundam joined the battle, opening with a grenade launcher shot.

It blasted a massive crater into the surface of Artemis Military Base, wiping out a large number of Defense Cannons in the process.

It then continuously fired its beam gun at the Moebius units and battleships around Artemis Military Base.

Before long, the Duel Gundam and Gundam Blitz finally broke through Artemis Military Base's defensive network and entered the base itself.

They saw the Strike Gundam and the modified Moebius, then launched a frenzied assault on them.

The modified Moebius's Linear Gun used physical ammunition, making it utterly ineffective against Gundams equipped with Phase Shift Armor.

Thor Kni could only play a supporting role, dodging here and there while taking opportunities to recover fragments and wreckage from nearby MAs and battleships.

To protect the modified Moebius, the Strike Gundam could only face the Gundam Blitz and Duel Gundam alone.

For Kira Yamato, who had yet to awaken his Seed, the battle was agonizing.

The Strike Gundam could only keep evading, occasionally charging in with its Anti-Ship Sword and firing the Shoulder Beam Boomerang from its left shoulder from time to time.

Thor Kni, piloting the modified Moebius, could only offer minor support from afar, firing his Linear Gun to interfere slightly. His Micro Missiles had long since run out.

Artemis Military Base's main control room had also been reduced to ashes under the Gundam Blitz's overwhelming firepower.

And Thor is missing. He said he went to find you. We don't know how he is now."

Miriaria Hau sounded as though she was about to cry, and Kira Yamato immediately replied.

"Miriaria, Thor is fine. He's with me.

I'll bring him back soon."

Kira Yamato piloted the Strike Gundam swiftly over to the modified Moebius and said to Thor Kni.

"Thor, the Archangel is leaving. Let's retreat quickly."

"Oh, okay, Kira. But I'm not very good at piloting a Moebius or controlling its direction. What I did earlier was already my limit.

Kira, can the Strike Gundam carry the Moebius so we can move together?"

"Okay, Thor. We'll retreat together. Open the communicator and say hello to Miriaria first. She's really worried about you."

After saying that, Kira Yamato directly grabbed the modified Moebius and darted through the base's internal passages.

The Gundam Blitz and Duel Gundam were temporarily held back by explosions inside the base and large numbers of Moebius units. They could only fall back and focus on destroying the base from within.

Thor activated the communicator and called out to the Archangel.

I found a rather unusual Moebius inside Artemis Military Base, and I'm aboard it now.

Kira is bringing me back with him. Don't worry."

However, the mission to destroy Artemis Military Base had been completed, so Yzak Joule and Diego.Elsman could only return to the Nacskha-class battleship.
