"Little Du, what do you suggest?"
Seeing that Du Ze seemed somewhat distracted, Lei Ya glanced at him. Du Ze quickly came back to his senses.
"You are right. Back when an evil demon descended upon Emei Prefecture, Elder Jin perished together with it, and the aftermath was exactly like this. It must have been the work of evil demons."
"Looks like that is indeed the case."
Lei Ya said this with great certainty as well.
There was precedent for this matter. Since the traces left behind by the deaths of those from Yulong Prefecture matched, then that was the true answer.
So now, the only question was how to find the evil demons that had attacked Yulong Prefecture.
Lei Ya had come here not only to investigate the matters of Emei Prefecture and Yulong Prefecture, but naturally to see this affair through to the end.
They could not simply stand by after learning that evil demons had done it, especially when the other side was such a vicious demon—or perhaps not merely one demon, but many.
"Do you have any other clues?"
The suspicion surrounding Emei Prefecture had been cleared, which meant they could be trusted. Lei Ya asked accordingly.
Jade Camel Peak. Yang An was still in secluded cultivation.
A figure flew over from afar and eventually landed before the entrance to his cave abode, immediately waking Yang An.
It was still Du Ze this time. He had come in person.
Yang An frowned. Had something happened again?
Separated by the stone door of the cave abode and its restrictions, Du Ze had no intention of barging in. He merely sent Yang An a voice transmission.
"Elder Yang, I have come to ask you something."
Yang An paused, already guessing what it might be.
"Please speak, Elder."
