Vice Admiral Jando shot to his feet in fury and slammed both fists onto the desk in front of him. Given the massive stature of his giant race, the desk had no chance of surviving; it instantly shattered into pieces.

"Those damn bastards! This is a blatant provocation against the Marines, a blatant challenge to the World Government! Has it been so long since the trash of the seas felt the Marines' wrath?"

"V-Vice Admiral Jando, may I ask... what happened?" Hearing the enormous crash from inside the office, a Marine nervously poked his head in and asked.

But Jando had no mood to answer. After leaving, he strode briskly toward the Fleet Admiral Office at Headquarters.

Before entering the office, Jando reined in his anger. After all, the man inside was the Marines' highest authority, Buddha Sengoku, the famed tactician who had shaken the seas many years ago.

However, when he entered, he discovered that Fleet Admiral Sengoku was not alone. His old buddy, Vice Admiral Garp, was there as well.

"Vice Admiral Jando, do you have something to report?" Sengoku ignored the old man beside him, who was happily crunching away.

"Yes, Fleet Admiral Sengoku. Dongdong Island Base, one of the Marines' seven secret research bases, has been breached. If the information inside is leaked, it could very well cause turmoil across the seas." Jando gave a general account of what had happened earlier.

"Ahahaha! They did a fine job. A sinful place like that should have disappeared long ago." Before Sengoku could finish pondering, Garp burst out laughing.

Sengoku himself might have hated that sort of evil just as much as Garp did, but he was a rational Marine. He believed that those who did not obey the World Government's orders were not true
