The Boundary River shimmered in the night, unnaturally calm beneath the moonlight.
A small boat and a floating platform skimmed across the water, sending ripples spreading over the surface.
"This is my business. Why did you follow me?" Jinx scowled as she kept rowing.
"No matter how the story unfolds, you ought to have a witness."
Seraphine sat on the platform, her little face wreathed in smiles. One toe lightly tapped the water, tracing ripples across the river.

"There is always a soul singing of the quietest path."
Seraphine wore a mysterious smile as the platform beneath her began to accelerate, speeding toward Piltover.
Before long, they arrived at a silent dock.
"Where is this?"
Jinx jumped from the boat and stared curiously at the dark, deserted dock.
She was not afraid Seraphine would lure her into a trap. With a gun in hand, she could roam Piltover as she pleased.
