A rhythmic burst of steam came from Vi's gauntlets.

Vi's eyes widened, her face twisted with ferocity.
Throwing caution to the wind, she struck with the Hextech Gauntlets on her hands as fast as she could.
But how could a punch match the speed of a rocket? She had merely managed to intercept it midway, giving her fist just enough of a chance to graze the rocket's tail.
Despair filled Vi's eyes as she watched the rocket change course slightly, yet still barrel toward the upper floors of the Kiramman residence.
She did not dare hesitate and rushed into the house.

She had just reached the window and caught Caitlyn as she jumped out when a burst of fire exploded before her eyes.
Then, a tremendous roar rang in her ears. The violent shockwave abruptly hurled her and Caitlyn from her arms away, along with the doors and windows of the Kiramman home, which scattered outward.
