Human strength had its limits, and fate was hard to defy. Despite all the precautions I took, I still tested positive. And in the whole family, only the child was fine; all the adults were knocked flat. Now every symptom was taking turns being served up. My only hope was that there would be no lingering effects—especially no brain fog, no erectile dysfunction. I had already mentally prepared myself for everything else.
I couldn't guarantee updates; whether I could write depended entirely on how I felt. I hoped this illness would pass soon, and that everyone could return to a healthy life.
