A great many things had happened during this time. First I tested positive, then the whole family tested positive, then the child tested positive. Immediately afterward, my grandfather passed away after resuscitation for White Lung proved unsuccessful. We queued for cremation, handled the funeral, and returned to our hometown to lay him to rest. This whole string of events had only just been wrapped up a few days ago, and then my mother fell ill again, exhausted in body and spirit because she had not yet recovered from COVID, and was hospitalized for injections. These events left me deeply moved. More than before, I cherished the elderly, cared for my parents, loved my wife, protected my child, and treasured the bonds between people. Since the child was no longer attending classes, I had been taking care of them all day. It would still be a few days before updates resumed; whether sooner or later, they would eventually return. I hoped that when spring grew warm and the flowers bloomed, everything would improve. Once the child returned to school, I would be able to update without any reservations.
