"Does it seem different from before?"
Evan studied the door in front of him.
"It does. The doors we saw just now were all black."
Bern nodded, his expression somewhat grave. "The monster behind this door is very likely to be even more dangerous!"
"Why don't we go back and choose another path?"
Cody, upholding the caution expected of an Assassin, began to lose his nerve.
"Is that necessary?"
Evan retorted quietly, "Even if we go back, maybe the path we choose next will still be the same as this one, and we'll just waste time for nothing..."
"No need to think about that anymore."
Lin Mo cut off their argument. "Look behind you."
Everyone looked in the direction of his voice. Behind them, the path they had come from was now shrouded in a faint layer of mist.
Lin Mo took out a Copper Coin and tossed it toward the mist.
The Copper Coin was blocked outside the mist, sending ripples spreading outward before it fell to the ground with a crisp sound.
"A magic barrier!"
Shock appeared on Bern's face. This had to be an Excellent Grade spell at the very least!
"Looks like the builder of this Secret Realm had deep attainments in magic."
Those words stirred Lin Mo somewhat. If this Secret Realm really had been built by a powerful Mage, then could there be powerful magic scrolls left inside?
Perhaps he could even find the things he most wanted to know right now, including how to sense and use mana, and how to cast spells.
