The World Tree and Darkshore remained under gloomy skies with continuous drizzle. Suramar City had returned, and everything continued as usual.

The planet Sargeras had entered its proper orbit, and the Divine Kingdom could now operate autonomously. Elisande had gone to the Tower of Awakening for advanced studies, learning mental magic from the Faceless Ones, while Hu Feng had become a hands-off manager.

Every Elf knew that although the current powers were High Priestess Tyrande, the Suramar Council of Truth, and Border General Jarod Shadowsong, their ultimate superior was Hu Feng, the Divine Emissary of the God of Magic. However, Hu Feng disliked micromanaging and had delegated a great deal of authority to the three factions. Unless it concerned major issues like the race's direction or foreign relations, Hu Feng was essentially idle. This also earned him the gratitude of the three leaders, as no one liked being a puppet.

Therefore, Hu Feng's daily activities consisted of absorbing and processing the power of faith transmitted by his believers, continuing to practice controlling the Void, Fel, and Arcane magic.

His Titan Core was growing robustly within the planet's core. Compared to Azeroth, a Titan plagued by disasters and developing very slowly, Hu Feng's core was in an exceptionally good state. Thus, Hu Feng would periodically divert a portion of his excess faith and Titan divine power into Azeroth's planetary core, always feeling Azeroth's joyful mood in return.

As a reward, Azeroth's world had an extremely high level of recognition for Hu Feng, essentially making him the world's favored son. Picking up gold coins on the roadside was child's play; as long as he was on Azeroth, Hu Feng's luck was practically unparalleled.

Since his core had not yet been born, Hu Feng could not yet comprehend his divine role. However, not all Titans had divine roles, nor did those with them necessarily become stronger.

The Dark Titan Sargeras had no divine role, but before his corruption, he was the chief warrior and top enforcer of the Titan Pantheon, a formidable individual who was invincible across the universe. Compared to some of his brethren with divine roles, such as the God of Forge or the God of Dreams, he was immensely more powerful.

Of course, if Hu Feng could comprehend a good divine role related to combat, elements, or magic, his strength would skyrocket, becoming immensely powerful.

At this moment, Hu Feng was sitting on the dock of the small town of Oakhaven on Darkshore, leisurely fishing. Fishing was not originally a popular pastime among the Night Elves, but under the Divine Emissary's personal example and teachings, many Night Elves had begun to come to Oakhaven to fish in their leisure time.

However, the Druids had protested this for a long time. A few newly initiated Druids, born after the war, were as bold as newborn calves and ran to Oakhaven to persuade Hu Feng directly not to toy with the lives of fish. Hu Feng, finding it both amusing and exasperating, had no choice but to agree. He promised to release all fish caught back into the sea, except for a few to satisfy his hunger, and only then did he manage to appease the Druids.

This, however, further elevated Hu Feng's image in the eyes of the Night Elves. Previously, the Highborne had appeared aloof and condescending, but now, under the leadership of the approachable Divine Emissary, their arrogance was completely gone.

Consequently, the calls for Hu Feng to permanently guard and lead the Elven race remained high within the Elven community. Everyone was happy to have a supreme elder watching over the three leaders, especially when this elder enjoyed mingling with the populace.

Hu Feng sat on a small stool he had made himself, an arm constructed of arcane energy gripping the fishing rod tightly, unmoving, waiting for a bite. He was reviewing various messages and world changes sent by Elven scouts and adventurers. He understood deeply that isolationism was never the right path; only by constantly paying attention to the world's situation, continuously developing oneself, and remaining open to new things could one remain eternally strong.

On the continent of the Eastern Kingdoms, the Arathor Human Empire was flourishing, beginning to explore and expand southward. Merith Winterwind, Hu Feng's disciple, had shone brightly and had become the pillar of magic for the Arathor Empire, now bestowed with the title Protector of the Realm Archmage. He had taught generation after generation of young human mages and destroyed numerous Troll tribes.

Human lifespans were short. A hundred years was but a fleeting moment for Elves, but for humans, it was a lifetime. Merith had transformed from the green young man he once was into a stern middle-aged man. The entire human empire deeply respected this Archmage who had single-handedly established the Kirin Tor Council of Magic and dedicated himself to the human nation.

The Kirin Tor Council of Magic was the first mage organization of humans, marked by a purple eye. Everyone knew Merith was paying tribute to his teacher: Hu Feng, the Divine Emissary of the God of Magic. Every newly initiated mage and council member would hear Merith recount the deeds of this Divine Emissary, and whenever this happened, Merith would rarely display a look of fervor and worship, something exceedingly difficult to witness on this strongest human mage. There were also rumors that Merith had received the support of Emperor Thoradin and was researching floating cities, much like the legendary magical holy city of Suramar under his teacher's command.

On the other hand, Arathor's first general, Lothar, received a reward from Emperor Thoradin: a vast tract of land in the northern part of the continent, bordering the High Elven kingdom of Quel'Thalas, as his domain. General Lothar was granted the surname "Menethil," and his vast, desolate territory was named Lordaeron.

However, the lands of Lordaeron were very fertile. With diligent cultivation, it would become a prosperous region within a few years. Trade caravans between the High Elves and humans all transited through Lordaeron, bringing each race the items they needed and also bringing rapid development and business opportunities to Lordaeron. A magnificent city, the capital city named after the territory, Lordaeron, thus came into being.

Meanwhile, a Stromgarde Royal Prince, due to internal political struggles, led his people to self-exile, voluntarily heading to the southern lands of the continent. They traveled south, establishing friendly relations with Dwarves and Gnomes along the way. Finally, they settled in a fertile region called Elwynn Forest, establishing their territory there, far from the brutal political struggles within their country.

They established Stormwind City here, calling themselves the Stormwind Territory of the Arathor Empire. Soon after, the first flag symbolizing Stormwind City, a blue background with a golden lion's head, fluttered from the highest point of Stormwind City's walls.

The High Elves continued to be deeply engrossed in magic, with no external enemies. Apart from trade and exchange with humans, they closed their doors and lived as recluses.

Dath'Remar Sunstrider's health deteriorated day by day. Knowing his time was short, he began to establish a magical defense system surrounding the entire territory of Quel'Thalas. Countless tall runestones were carved and erected, collectively forming a super-large magical shield that firmly enclosed Quel'Thalas.

Alleria, leading her Windrunner Family, controlled the Ranger Corps, patrolling the forests of Quel'Thalas day after day. However, everyone knew that more than half of her heart had drifted across the Endless Sea, to the one idly fishing by the World Tree. Whenever there was news about the Night Elves, Alleria would read it repeatedly, as if searching for that person's whereabouts and actions.

There were also a few foolish High Elven nobles who coveted Alleria's beauty and the influence of her Ranger Corps, wanting to arrange a marriage with her. The fate of these individuals was tragically dire, sinking to the bottom of the Endless Sea.

Dath'Remar Sunstrider stared at the foolish nobles before him with a half-smile. These people seemed lost in past glories, believing that being from a magical family allowed them to easily manipulate the Ranger family.

To these individuals, Dath'Remar merely uttered, "Good luck to yourselves. If I were you, I would immediately bring gifts and beg Alleria for forgiveness. Otherwise, if you anger that existence, the holy city of Suramar might appear above your homes tomorrow and unleash an arcane orbital bombardment. Even if that person is too lazy to bother with you, they only need to communicate with the God of Magic and report you. Then, the gods might descend divine punishment or cease to protect the High Elves, and you'll be left to be slaughtered as sacrifices to the gods."

As a result, Alleria transformed from a delicious piece of meat in the nobles' eyes into an unprovokable black hole. The nobles rushed to visit with gifts, leaving in a hurry amidst fawning words. The Ranger Corps then became Alleria's personal property, and no one dared to interfere.

The humans also joined in the excitement. The Lord of Lordaeron and Protector of the Realm Archmage Merith both declared that anyone who dared to lay a hand on Alleria would face their opposition first. Alleria merely watched these farces silently, offering no opinion, and faithfully continued her ranger duties. However, the occasional smile that appeared proved that this Ranger General was in a good mood. Sylvanas, the second daughter of the Windrunner Family, followed her sister. She had just reached the age requirement and officially became a new Ranger. Seeing her sister's rare happy expression, she was somewhat puzzled.

"Sister, is that Divine Emissary Hu Feng... really that terrifying? Those annoying nobles just got so scared upon hearing his name, like startled ostriches. And... that name sounds so strange."

Alleria paused, then chuckled softly, "He's not terrifying; he's just a scoundrel. The God of Magic must regret choosing him as a Divine Emissary~"

Sylvanas looked at her sister's bright smile and the longing in her eyes, and she silently committed this Divine Emissary, who had stolen her sister's heart, to memory.

On the other side of the sea, the continent of Kalimdor.

Hu Feng looked at these reports, as if he had personally experienced everything, the faces and voices of everyone vividly appearing in his mind.

The Eastern Kingdoms had embarked on a path of prosperity and development, and Kalimdor could not be left behind. As the supreme elder of the Night Elves, he had to do something, hadn't he? Having seen the future, Hu Feng knew the direction of established history. Regarding the dark tide that would soon cross the Dark Portal and sweep across the world, Hu Feng decided to begin preparations.

The Barrens in the central-eastern part of Kalimdor would be fine for the future newcomers, of course, provided they were first made to obey.
