The orc warlock Retsen immediately slipped into his role, faithfully following behind Hu Feng. Interestingly, this somewhat skinny orc warlock always carried six poisoned daggers on him—more of a rogue than any rogue.

The group was on its way back to Redridge Mountains Fortress, accompanied by Durotan, chieftain of the Frostwolf Clan, and several of his warlords. The negotiations and discussions would take place at Redridge Mountains Fortress.

"After we return, open up a new area in Stormwind City's Mage District and make it the Warlock District," Hu Feng said to Llane.

"You want to develop warlocks among the humans?" Llane considered it for a moment, then nodded in agreement. "That won't be a problem. Warlock power differs far too greatly from that of mages. The Alliance has suffered too many losses at the hands of warlocks. We need this kind of power as well."

Hu Feng nodded. "Not just humans—elves too. I'll select a group of Highborne interested in warlock arts and see whether elves can produce warlocks as a class." He then turned to Retsen.

"After we return, I want you to teach apprentices with talent for warlock arts. But remember one thing: no more polluting the land like before. Look at the mess you made. A perfectly good Black Morass has now become completely barren."

Retsen immediately bowed and accepted the order.

The Black Morass was now known as The Blasted Lands. Its soil was dark red and utterly barren. Every beast there was either dead or corrupted by fel energy, driven completely mad.

Although the Horde's main force had already marched north, the Dark Portal in The Blasted Lands was still guarded by the Blood Ring Clan. At the first sign of trouble, they would immediately close the Dark Portal according to Gul'dan's method.
