Hu Feng and King Varian led the Alliance to the Broken Isles while Little Saurfang’s Horde mission sought to recruit the Highmountain Tauren. After the Tauren showed him an extravagant illusion of their hero Huln slaughtering demons, Little Saurfang politely praised it while privately doubting the tale.
Elune completed her hatching by using planetary divine iron to form her Divine Body, while Hu Feng helped her resist the divinity of absolute order. After breaking free of her shell and retaining her free will, Elune returned to the Eternal Night Palace and thanked Azeroth’s people.
The Lordaeron War Court’s army traveled through Azsuna toward Faronar to help Prince Faraodys’s spirit elves against the Nightfallen Elves and Naga. The chapter left the Nightfallen’s status as kin unresolved while outlining the conflicts unfolding across Azeroth.
Hu Feng showed the leaders of the Alliance, Horde, and Lordaeron the warships built for them at the Sargeras planetary shipyard. The chapter ended with the Night Elves’ Silver Fleet and the colossal Titan’s Spear under construction as war continued across the universe.
The Alliance seized Storm Dragons' eggs in Stormheim but lost its airship fleet, then turned its aggression on the Vrykul. After a warrior's recorded ascent to Valhalla inspired warriors worldwide to demand access, Hu Feng exposed the sanctuary and let living warriors enter, while Hunters established a camp and warlocks remained without a sanctuary.
Turalyon and Tyrande led the Soulbinders and Moon Sisters to Blackrock Hold to guide its trapped elven spirits onward. In the Broken Isles, Prince Faraodys learned that Azshara would not lift his people’s curse, so he asked to return to Suramar and rejoin the Highborne.
The Pharodis Court returned to Suramar, while the Highborne encountered the Nightfallen Elves and the monstrous Phadore in the Faronar ruins. Suramar agreed to resettle the Nightfallen Elves and issued an Empire-wide extermination order against the Phadore.
Hu Feng purified Ysera after Havis corrupted her with a crystal infused with N'Zoth's power, then reflected on his coming war with Sargeras and the future of his empire. Sylvanas and the two Turalyons reassured him, and he resolved to remove the empire's final obstacle.
Elena confronted Sargeras about his grief, his planned war with Sarodal, and his refusal to consider another path, while Sargeras said he would take her to Azeroth after the war. Meanwhile, a German youth made a pact with Varimathras and became Captain Germany, a supernatural champion of German unification.
Azeroth and the Night Empire prepared a vast fleet for an expedition against the Burning Legion, while Hu Feng and Elune witnessed a fragment showing Hu Feng’s past self glimpsing their distant future. The fragment faded after Hu Feng urged his past self to follow his heart, leaving the present pair to reflect on the encounter.
Azeroth's fleet warped to Argus and surrounded the Burning Legion's defenses as Hu Feng prepared to confront Sargeras. The chapter ended with Sargeras drawing Dark Render and Hu Feng commanding the void, while Argus set off to find Argus the Destroyer's world-soul.
Sarodal led Azeroth’s forces against the Fel fleet while fighting Sargeras, who eventually accepted that he had lost. The war ended with Sargeras joining the New Pantheon’s fight against the Void Lords.
Hu Feng and his companions spent a quiet day fishing in Darkshore as Azeroth’s powers began colonizing the cosmos. The chapter left Hu Feng looking toward the future, ready to keep fighting for Azeroth and eventually confront the Void Lords.
Old Hu thanked readers for supporting Titan's Dawn and announced that its universe and characters would continue in a second book with a new protagonist. After a playful exchange with Sargeras and Elune, Old Hu introduced a young man in a black trench coat and bowler hat as the next protagonist.
