Ch. 622Preparation

After Saori Kido’s identity as Athena was confirmed, several Saints joined her cause, and Yota helped repair their Cloths while exploring how they could strengthen his Cosmo. A few days later Shiryu and Mr. Mu arrived, and Mu stayed to teach Yota Cloth-crafting techniques as Saori’s Cosmo reached the Seventh Sense.

  • Perseus restored Hyoga and Shun, and both joined Saori Kido, while Ikki said he would visit Sanctuary when the time came.
  • Saori sent a letter to Sanctuary announcing her approach, and Yota repaired several Silver Saints’ Cloths and studied the Cosmo experience they contained.
  • Shiryu arrived at the Graude Foundation with the restored Dragon Cloth, and Mr. Mu sensed that Saori’s Cosmo had reached the Seventh Sense.
  • Yota recognized that Saori’s rapid growth came from his merging with her while borrowing a Gold Saint Cloth, alongside Athena’s awakening Cosmo.
  • Mr. Mu stayed behind to teach Yota how to craft Cloths, while concealing that he was the Aries Gold Saint.

Ch. 623The Saint Cloth Is Forged

Yota forged a personal, ultra-reinforced Silver Saint Cloth with Mu’s help, using rare metals and the Aries Gold Saint Cloth’s Cosmo. After Mu finished refining its appearance, Saints sent by Sanctuary arrived in Japan again.

  • Yota decided to forge his own Saint Cloth because he lacked a Cosmo of his own and could not advance his crafting further.
  • Yota used Amazonian Metal, Uru metal, Galactic Glaze, and other materials to make an exceptionally durable Silver Saint Cloth, with Mu assisting.
  • Mu polished the finished armor and changed its plain, bulky appearance.
  • Yota said he would seek Gold Saint Cloth materials and Apollo’s divine armor in Olympus after the Holy War.
  • Saints dispatched by Sanctuary arrived in Japan as Yota’s Saint Cloth was completed.

Ch. 624Aquatic Duo and Shura

Saga sent Deathmask, Aphrodite, and Shura to pursue Athena after a previous assassin defected, while Saori Kido continued training and strengthened her Cosmo. The three Gold Saints arrived in Tokyo, and Mu left to help Dohko guard the seal, leaving Saori and Yota to face the newcomers.

  • Saga changed his plan and sent Aiolia to trouble Dohko while Deathmask, Aphrodite, and Shura went after Athena.
  • Saori Kido trained with Yota until her Cosmo approached his, while the other Saints grew stronger through intense battles and recovery.
  • Mu sensed the three Gold Saints arriving in Tokyo and left to help Dohko guard the seal.
  • Mu told Yota to let Saori fight for herself, and Yota welcomed the three Gold Saints as a chance to gain their power.
  • Saori prepared to face the attackers without wearing the Sagittarius Cloth, hoping to obtain her own God Cloth in Sanctuary.

Ch. 625Gold Saints Attack

The three Gold Saints tracked the Bronze and Silver Saints outside the city, where Shura attacked Saori Kido after recognizing her as Athena. Shiryu stepped in front of her with his Dragon Shield as the Holy Sword came down.

  • Deathmask, Aphrodite, and Shura sensed the Saints' Cosmos move away from the Graad Foundation building and followed it outside the city.
  • Yota gathered the Saints at the Gudura Conglomerate to keep them together, then moved them beyond the city so a battle would not endanger civilians.
  • The three Gold Saints arrived, shocking the Silver Saints and revealing the scale of the threat to Hyoga.
  • Shura recognized Saori Kido as Athena, raised his hand, and demanded her head.
  • Shura slashed at Saori Kido with the Holy Sword, and Shiryu raised his Dragon Shield to protect her.

Ch. 626Shura and Deathmask Get Beaten Up

Shiryu’s shield withstood part of Shura’s attack, but Saori Kido overwhelmed the Gold Saints with her own Cosmo. She left Shura and Deathmask badly injured, while Aphrodite remained stunned and faced her alone.

  • Shura’s Holy Sword carved a deep gash into Shiryu’s Dragon Shield, which Yota recognized had been strengthened with Vibranium.
  • Saori Kido unleashed her Cosmo and sent Shura flying with a Plasma Light Speed Fist, cracking his Gold Saint Cloth.
  • Deathmask used Sekishiki Meikai Ha while Aphrodite launched a white rose, but Saori blocked the rose and resisted the underworld attack as Bronze and Silver Saints collapsed.
  • Saori mistook the fallen Saints for dead, and her grief and anger surged into a Plasma Beam Fist that suppressed Deathmask’s Cosmo and nearly shattered his Gold Saint Cloth.
  • Deathmask was blasted away and left limp on the ground, while Aphrodite trembled at Saori’s strength.

Ch. 627Yota Makes His Move

Saori Kido defeated the three Gold Saints, and Yota restored the fallen Saints and stripped Deathmask of his Cloth. When Shura questioned whether they should abandon their pursuit of strength, Yota offered to fight them himself, leaving the three Gold Saints facing his challenge.

  • Saori Kido asked Yota about the fallen Saints, and he said they were alive and could be restored.
  • Yota took Deathmask's Cancer Gold Saint Cloth, retrieved the fallen Saints' souls, and revived them before returning Deathmask to the battlefield.
  • Saori Kido summoned the Sagittarius Gold Saint Cloth and asked Deathmask, Shura, and Aphrodite if they still wanted to fight.
  • Shura questioned whether they should give up the beliefs and pursuit of strength that had driven them for ten years.
  • Yota challenged the three Gold Saints to fight him and tossed aside the Cancer Gold Saint Cloth.

Ch. 628The Strength of a Brand-New Saint Cloth

Yota challenged Shura, Deathmask, and Aphrodite to test the Silver Saint Cloth he had forged, offering to obey Athena’s orders if he lost. The Gold Saints’ attacks failed to damage it, and Aphrodite’s assault also left Yota unharmed.

  • Yota identified himself as a Saint Cloth Repairman and challenged the three Gold Saints to fight.
  • Shura accepted the challenge, and Yota activated the Cosmo in his newly forged Saint Cloth.
  • Shura struck Yota’s arm guard with his Holy Sword, but the impact damaged Shura’s gauntlet while leaving the Cloth unmarked.
  • Shura unleashed a barrage of slashes, cracking his own gauntlets without harming Yota.
  • Aphrodite attacked with Piranha Rose, but the rose petals could not damage Yota’s Saint Cloth.

Ch. 629Terrifying Endurance

Yota overwhelmed Shura, Deathmask, and Aphrodite with relentless light-speed attacks and techniques he had learned from the Saints’ Cloths. Shura was left struggling to keep pace as Yota’s assault continued without slowing.

  • Aphrodite and Shura suspected Yota’s Cloth was what let him challenge three Gold Saints, while Yota began his attack with an endless barrage of light-speed punches.
  • Yota wore Shura down and sent him flying; Shura recognized the attack as Aiolos’s Lightning Plasma.
  • Deathmask charged Yota with Cancer Death Claw, but Yota struck him between the legs with Rising Dragon Force and knocked him down.
  • Yota unleashed Pegasus Meteor Fist, sending Aphrodite flying while Shura managed to block the punches with his Holy Sword.
  • Shura’s accumulated fatigue slowed him, and Yota’s still-unrelenting Meteor Fists struck him.

Ch. 630Overwhelming Advantage

Yang Tai overwhelmed Shura, Aphrodite, and Deathmask in a brutal three-on-one fight, shrugging off their attacks while injuring all three. Shura proposed using Athena Exclamation, believing it could hurt Yang Tai but not kill him.

  • Shura realized Yang Tai's body was exceptionally tough, and he, Aphrodite, and Deathmask attacked together.
  • Yang Tai met their attacks head-on, while the three Gold Saints wore themselves down without damaging him.
  • Yang Tai exploited an opening and sent Shura, Aphrodite, and Deathmask flying, leaving them badly injured.
  • Deathmask and Aphrodite were stunned that their attacks could not pierce Yang Tai's skin or Saint Cloth.
  • Shura proposed Athena Exclamation, and the three considered using the technique against Yang Tai.

Ch. 631Athena Exclamation

Yota withstood Athena Exclamation from Shura and two other Gold Saints, convincing them to submit to Saori Kido. As Saori prepared to reach the Sanctuary, Yota wondered whether the battle of the Zodiac 12 Palaces would happen again and hoped to take part so he could repair and absorb more Gold Saint Cloth imprints.

  • Shura and two other Gold Saints prepared Athena Exclamation as their final attack against Yota.
  • Yota caught their combined Cosmo, used some physical strength to subdue it, and showed the Saints that his hand was unharmed.
  • The three Gold Saints admitted defeat and knelt before Saori Kido.
  • Saori Kido gained confidence after hearing that the Saints had been deceived by the Fake Pope, while Yota suspected the Sanctuary’s Gold Saints might know more than they let on.
  • Yota repaired and absorbed Cosmo imprints from the three Gold Saint Cloths and considered stirring up a battle at the Zodiac 12 Palaces.

Ch. 632Journey to Sanctuary

Mr. Mu returned and joined Saori Kido, Yota, and the other Saints as they prepared to confront the Fake Pope at the Sanctuary. During the flight, Yota absorbed fighting techniques from Gold Saint Cloths and practiced swordsmanship before the group crossed the Sanctuary's barrier in Greece.

  • Mr. Mu explained that he had driven Aiolia back with the Libra Gold Saint's shield, while Dohko had secretly helped him.
  • Mr. Mu inspected the Saints' Cloths, and the group boarded a plane for Greece, believing their alliance was strong enough to overcome the remaining Gold Saints.
  • Yota studied techniques inherited from the Gold Saint Cloths and learned swordsmanship from previous Capricorn Saints.
  • Yota practiced barehanded sword strikes that produced sword qi, then continued training until the plane reached Greece.
  • The Saints led the group through the barrier surrounding the Sanctuary.

Ch. 633Resonance of Athena's Cosmo

Saori Kido entered Sanctuary and unleashed Athena’s fully awakened Cosmo, prompting the Saints and their Cloths to respond while Saga realized his plans were collapsing. As Saori’s group reached Aries Palace, Saga’s Sagitta Saint appeared, uncertain after seeing the goddess and the Gold Saints who had turned against Saga.

  • Saori Kido entered Sanctuary and released her vast Athena Cosmo, which resonated throughout the Sanctuary and stirred the Saints and their Cloths.
  • Yota realized that Athena’s Cosmo had always remained within Sanctuary, explaining how Kanon had sensed it while imprisoned at Cape Sounion.
  • Saga panicked at Athena’s arrival and the rising Cosmo of Shura, Deathmask, Aphrodite, Mu, and the other Saints, then resisted a gentle inner voice urging him to atone.
  • Yota saw Saga’s split personality through Sanctuary’s barriers and judged him unfit to rule, while Saori’s group advanced slowly to increase the pressure on him.
  • Saga recalled that he had told Sagitta that Saori was Eris and had ordered him to assassinate her; when the group reached Aries Palace, Sagitta appeared and hesitated at the sight of Athena and the defecting Gold Saints.

Ch. 634A Laughable Assassination

Sagitta tried to assassinate Saori Kido, believing she was the Goddess of Discord, but she caught his Golden Arrow and Yota discovered Sagitta had only mistaken himself for dead. After Sagitta revealed that the Pope had told him Athena was an impostor, Yota led the Saints toward the Zodiac 12 Palaces to confront the Pope.

  • Sagitta tore off his robe and attacked Saori Kido with Phantom Arrow and the Golden Arrow.
  • Saori caught the real arrow and threw it into Sagitta’s chest, believing she had killed him.
  • Yota discovered Sagitta was alive, healed him, confiscated his Cloth, and demanded to know why he had called Saori an evil goddess.
  • Sagitta said the Pope had told him that the Saints were controlled by the Goddess of Discord, Eris.
  • Yota dismissed the need to prove Saori’s identity and urged the group to challenge the Zodiac 12 Palaces and confront the Pope.

Ch. 635Battle at Taurus Palace

Saori Kido and her companions passed through Aries Palace and confronted Aldebaran at Taurus Palace. Saori defeated the Taurus Saint with Lightning Plasma, and Aldebaran admitted defeat, leaving the group free to continue through Sanctuary.

  • Mr. Mu explained that Aldebaran might block their passage through Taurus Palace, and Saori Kido said she would hold back if they fought.
  • Aldebaran refused to let the group enter without defeating him, so Saori Kido stepped forward to challenge him herself.
  • Aldebaran raised his Iaijutsu Defense but hesitated to strike Saori, who was not wearing a Cloth.
  • Saori Kido unleashed Lightning Plasma and blasted Aldebaran through the walls of Taurus Palace.
  • Aldebaran emerged from the rubble with minor injuries and admitted defeat.

Ch. 636Six Against One? Shaka: This Is Too Much

Yota took the Gemini Gold Saint Cloth from the empty Gemini Palace, while the group hurried through Cancer and reached Aiolia at Leo. Saori Kido defeated Shaka at Virgo, leaving him unconscious as they continued toward the Pope's Chamber.

  • Yota absorbed the Gemini Gold Saint Cloth into Dark Space and wore it, and Saori Kido accepted him as the Gemini Gold Saint.
  • Deathmask explained that the anguished faces in the Cancer Palace belonged to wronged souls he had brought from Yomotsu Hirasaka.
  • After Saori Kido revealed her identity and Cosmo, Aiolia sided with her and sought answers from the Pope.
  • Shaka confronted Saori Kido and the six Gold Saints at the Virgo Palace, unsure whether she or the Pope was in the right.
  • Saori Kido overwhelmed Shaka's Tenbu Horin with her divine Cosmo and knocked him to the ground.

Ch. 637The Easily Breached 12 Palaces

Saori Kido and the Saints passed through the remaining palaces, defeating or bypassing their Gold Saint guardians until they reached the Pope's Chamber. Aiolia confronted the masked Fake Pope Saga and demanded the truth about Athena and Saori.

  • Shaka pretended to be unconscious, and Saori's group left Virgo Palace; Yota absorbed insights from the Libra Gold Saint Cloth before returning it to its place.
  • Saori defeated Milo in Scorpio Palace, while the group passed through Sagittarius and Capricorn Palaces and saw Aiolos's message on the wall.
  • Hyoga tried to persuade Camus to stand down, but Saori defeated Camus in Aquarius Palace, and Hyoga stayed behind to care for his teacher.
  • The group passed through Pisces Palace and reached the Pope's Chamber, where Aiolia demanded that the Fake Pope Saga explain what had happened and reveal Athena.

Ch. 638The Pope Unmasked

Saga was exposed as the Fake Pope after Aiolia’s attack knocked off his helmet, and he admitted to killing the previous Pope. Mu and Aiolia then joined forces against him, driving him back even without his Gemini Gold Saint Cloth.

  • Saga revealed that he had been hiding the truth and argued that only the strong could protect the land.
  • Aiolia attacked Saga with Lightning Plasma over his brother Aiolos’s death, but Saga blocked his strikes.
  • Mu identified the Fake Pope as an active Gold Saint, and the Saints concluded that he was Saga of Gemini.
  • Aiolia’s attack knocked off Saga’s helmet, revealing his face, and Saga admitted that he had killed the previous Pope.
  • Mu and Aiolia attacked Saga together, overwhelmed his Galaxian Explosion, and left his Pope’s robe in tatters.
  • Saga called for the Gemini Gold Saint Cloth to answer his summons.

Ch. 639End of the 12 Palaces

Saga accused Saori Kido of taking the Gemini Saint Cloth, then discovered her overwhelming strength when she faced him. After Saori defeated him, the Athena statue’s shield dispelled the darkness possessing him, and Saga knelt to repent.

  • Yota revealed that he was wearing the Gemini Gold Saint Cloth, leaving Saga unable to summon it.
  • Saga accused Saori Kido of making the cloth abandon him and attacked her, but she easily repelled his punch.
  • Saga challenged Saori Kido, and she ignored his Phantom Emperor Fist before striking him into the Athena statue.
  • The statue’s shield transformed into a golden shield, which drove a grotesque black face from Saga’s body as Saori recognized Eris's Curse.
  • White Saga emerged from the darkness and knelt before Athena, weeping and repenting.

Ch. 640Strengthening the Saint Cloths

After Saga’s death cleared Saori Kido’s name, Yota strengthened Sanctuary’s Saint Cloths with Nth Metal and absorbed the Cosmo memories they contained. As he examined the remaining Cloths, he found one linked to Saori and discovered that a Saint associated with Grus had awakened the Eighth Sense.

  • Saga killed himself after broadcasting his confession throughout Sanctuary, and the Gold Saints pledged loyalty to Saori Kido.
  • Yota used Nth Metal to repair and strengthen the damaged Gold Saint Cloths, and Camus recovered from his severe injuries in less than half an hour while wearing the repaired Aquarius Cloth.
  • At Saori Kido’s order, the Saints handed over their Cloths for Yota to study and upgrade.
  • Yota absorbed the Cosmo experiences in Gold, Silver, and Bronze Saint Cloths, deepening his understanding of Cosmo but postponing his own awakening.
  • Yota examined the female Saints’ Cloths and found that a Saint associated with Grus had awakened the Eighth Sense, then recognized Saori’s Ophiuchus Cloth.

Ch. 641Ophiuchus Saint Cloth

Yota triggered a tremendous human Cosmo while communing with the Ophiuchus Silver Saint Cloth, briefly awakening a powerful Gold Saint Cloth. He learned that Asclepius lay dormant within the Cloth, while his own Cosmo neared an awakening.

  • Aphrodite and the other Saints sensed a powerful human Cosmo erupting from the Pope's Chamber and hurried there.
  • Saori Kido reached the Pope's Palace and found Yota wearing the Ophiuchus Saint Cloth.
  • Yota's Cosmo shattered the Ophiuchus Silver Saint Cloth, whose fragments formed a magnificent Gold Saint Cloth before Yota removed it and it reverted to Silver.
  • Yota explained that the Cloth's hidden will belonged to Asclepius, who had briefly awakened but remained close to dissipating.
  • Yota realized that absorbing the Cloth's Cosmo memories had brought his own Cosmo close to awakening and had greatly increased the Ophiuchus Cloth's potential.
