After talking for ages, Vegapunk turned his head and saw the Kaguya Clan Leader's utterly baffled expression. He immediately waved a hand in boredom. "Forget it. What's the point of telling you this? You only need to know that I'm working on a drug that can massively increase Chakra!"
In Vegapunk's view, aside from the Chakra formed by the fusion of physical and spiritual energy, every Ninja possessed a small amount of Chakra that acted as a medium. However, the quantity was extremely limited and basically had no effect on a Ninja's strength.
Only Ninja clans such as the Kaguya, Uchiha, Senju, Hyuga, and Uzumaki, or the occasional individual Ninja like Kisame, possessed such vast amounts of medium Chakra that they displayed Chakra reserves far beyond ordinary people.
Perhaps this was the residue left behind by the God Tree Fruit. What made Vegapunk curious was that, to a certain extent, the two different types of Chakra could actually be converted into each other.
Otherwise, where did the Chakra extracted by God Tree World Advent come from? Was it all medium Chakra? How much could there possibly be? How could it ever gather an amount of Chakra on the level of the God Tree?
This conversion was not an ability unique to the God Tree. Samehada's ability actually involved the conversion of the two types of Chakra as well. However, Samehada had to consume seven or eight portions of normal Chakra to obtain one portion of medium Chakra, and it was even less capable of conducting conversion on a massive scale like the God Tree.
Vegapunk had also discovered that after their medium Chakra was extracted, those Ninjas' talent for Chakra rapidly shrank. It was not a reduction in their Chakra reserves; rather, their ability to alter Chakra nature vanished completely.
