Vegapunk is a transmigrator from Earth who differs sharply from the original scientist he replaces. He allied with the World Government for resources while withholding his best research, infiltrated its institutions, and secretly replaced some Celestial Dragons with clones. His hidden arsenal included orbital weapons, nuclear weapons, ancient-weapon clones, and advanced biological projects 1.

The Brain-Brain Fruit granted him extraordinary intellect but left his original body only slightly healthier than that of an ordinary person. Seeking to remove this weakness, he faked his death and transferred himself into a genetically modified body based on Cavendish’s genes 1 2 22.
