Zhang Tian raised Xiao Yan’s cultivation, took control of the Jia Lie Family’s resources, and established his strength within the Yun Lan Sect. After helping Xiao Yan cancel his engagement and defeat the Amethyst Winged Lion King, Zhang Tian began training Nalan Yanran before preparing to travel to the Tagor Desert.

• Zhang Tian secretly supplied Xiao Yan with pills, helped him advance through the Dou Qi stages, and later became his master after Xiao Yan impressed the Xiao Family by defeating Xiao Chu.
• Zhang Tian killed the Jia Lie Family’s leaders and took its resources, while Yao Lao revealed himself to Zhang Tian and began refining cultivation medicine for Xiao Yan.
• Zhang Tian defeated the City Lord and his fighters, then confronted Ge Ye and Nalan Yanran when they came to end Xiao Yan’s engagement.
• Xiao Yan learned the Flame Mantra and became a Dou Shi, while Zhang Tian broke through to Dou Emperor and defeated Yun Yun in a duel.
• Zhang Tian and Yao Lao helped Xiao Yan train, then Zhang Tian killed the Amethyst Winged Lion King so Xiao Yan could refine its Purple Flame and advance to Eight-Star Dou Shi.
• Xiao Yan visited the Yun Lan Sect and annulled his engagement with Nalan Yanran, while Zhang Tian offered compensation and agreed to guide her.
• Nalan Yanran began training with Zhang Tian, refining Symbiotic Amethyst Source in Foundation Establishment Spirit Liquid as he prepared to leave with Yun Yun for the Tagor Desert.

Zhang Tian subdued new Heavenly Flames, survived battles across the continent, and returned to find the Yun Lan Sect preparing for war. After refusing Yun Shan’s demand to fight the Gama Royal Family, Zhang Tian left the sect and joined Xiao Yan in the Monster Mountain Range.

• Zhang Tian found the Azure Lotus Core Flame in the Tagor Desert, subdued it, and killed the Eight-Winged Black Serpent Emperor before returning to Yun Yun and Qing Lin.
• Zhang Tian and Yun Yun fought their way out of the Shang Qing Spring Sect, where Tan Xiaofei died trying to help them escape, and Zhang Tian later recovered from his injuries.
• Zhang Tian followed the purple mark to the Endless Abyss, received the Nine Nether Wind Flame, and killed the Fire Eyed Jade Hoof Beast before returning to the Xiao Family.
• Yao Lao asked Zhang Tian to find materials for his revival, while Zhang Tian reunited with Xiao Zhan and learned that Yun Shan had emerged from seclusion as a Dou Zong.
• Zhang Tian forged the Demon Lyre and drove off Medusa Queen when she demanded the Azure Lotus Core Flame.
• Zhang Tian refused Yun Shan’s request to support the Yun Lan Sect’s war against the Gama Royal Family, then left after offering to fight one Dou Emperor from the Chuyun Empire.
• Three days later, Zhang Tian reached the Monster Mountain Range, where Xiao Yan was preparing to break through and Yao Lao revealed they had bought one-fifth of a Bodhi Heart.

Zhang Tian protected Xiao Yan, raised him through the Life and Death Gate, and destroyed Hun Youmu’s Soul Hall stronghold. The group set out for Central State, while Yao Lao continued seeking a body and Xiao Yan faced the consequences of sparing Xing Liu.

• Zhang Tian reached Dou Zun, helped Xiao Yan defeat Nalan Yanran, and destroyed Yun Shan and much of Yunlan Mountain before adopting Xiao Xin as Zhang Yuxin.
• Zhang Tian killed a Soul Hall Protector who revealed Yun Yun had been captured, but he later learned the claim was false and reunited with Yun Yun and Flower Granny.
• Zhang Tian killed Hun Shi and Kong Mu in the Ten Thousand Miles Wilderness, rejected Chen Zihan as a disciple, and escaped Hun Youmu’s attack.
• Zhang Tian brought Xiao Yan to the Life and Death Gate, where Xiao Yan cultivated with Yao Lao and devoured the Azure Lotus Core Flame, evolving the Flame Mantra.
• Zhang Tian reached Two Star Dou Sheng and led Xiao Yan, Yao Lao, and Xiao Xin to the Burial Soul Mountain Range, where he overwhelmed Hun Youmu and his Soul Hall forces.
• Zhang Tian destroyed Hun Youmu, the Bone Dragon, the Soul Hall branch, and a hidden Child Flame clone of Hun Miesheng, then spared Star Elder’s group and chose to travel to Central State.
• Xiao Yan defeated Xing Liu in a fight but let him leave, and Feng Xian told Yao Lao that Xing Liu was Feng Ruo’s son and loved Ruo Rou without knowing they were related.

Zhang Tian gathered Heavenly Flames, confronted the Soul Clan, and intervened in the struggle over the Ancient Emperor Cave Abode while preparing to establish Dragon Gate. The arc ended with Zhang Tian entering the Heavenly Tomb to reclaim the Xiao Clan’s inheritance as Zhu Kun fought the Ancient Clan.

• Zhang Tian subdued the Three Thousand Burning Flame for Xiao Yan, then went to face the approaching Soul Hall while Yao Lao prepared Xiao Yan to refine it.
• Zhang Tian killed Hun Miesheng, devastated the Heaven Demon Phoenix Clan, seized the Fallen Heart Flame, and recruited Man She while negotiating an alliance with the Ancient Clan for three Heavenly Flames.
• Chen Zihan died after asking Zhang Tian to avenge him, and Zhang Tian killed Chen Mo Han before destroying the Wang Mansion.
• Zhang Tian joined Gu Yuan and Hun Tiandi at the emerging Ancient Emperor Cave Abode, saved Zi Yan when Hun Tiandi destroyed Canaan Academy, and later battled the Emperor Pill Embryo with his Demon Zither and Nine Heavenly Tribulations.
• Zhang Tian reduced the Emperor Pill Embryo to pill form and entered the stone statue, then refused Zhu Kun’s request for the pill because he planned to help Xiao Yan become a Dou Di.
• Zhang Tian founded Dragon Gate, appointed Yao Lao deputy gate master and Xiao Yan young alliance master, and infused Xiao Yan with essence blood before learning Hun Tiandi had challenged him to a duel.
• Zhu Kun returned to Dragon Island, subdued the Dragon Kings, and led the dragons toward the Ancient Clan while Zhang Tian entered the Ancient World to reclaim the Xiao Clan’s inheritance.
• Gu Xun’er was rejected by Tou She Ancient God as an inheritor, Zhu Kun fought Gu Yuan and the Ancient Clan, and Gu Yuan let Zhang Tian enter the Heavenly Tomb.
