If the two large teams pursuing them sent their aerial forces to launch a sneak attack while Breaking Waves Riding Wind and the others were dealing with another thousand-person team, Ye Luo and his group were confident they could rout those attackers, or at the very least kill more than half of them. That would make dealing with the two teams behind them much easier, perhaps even allowing them to crush them in one stroke. After all, a large team without much aerial power was lambs to the slaughter; having more people merely meant there were more lambs to slaughter.
However, the teams behind them did not send aerial forces to ambush them, leaving Breaking Waves Riding Wind rather disappointed.
"Sister Feng, they aren't fools either. They naturally know how risky it is for aerial forces to break away from the main army and attack us, especially since they can't bring many priests with them," San Mei Shi said. Then she changed the subject. "Only if we run into an enemy force of more than 5,000 people might those two teams behind us send aerial forces to ambush us."
Without waiting for Breaking Waves Riding Wind to respond, she continued, "But if we really encountered a team that large, we wouldn't fight them either. It would be far too dangerous for us. We would avoid them as much as possible and temporarily avoid their edge."
Knowing that was true, Breaking Waves Riding Wind sighed. Still, she knew when to let things go and did not dwell on the matter any further.
Next, a system notification announced that Long Teng Tian Xia and the others had completed the level-280 Instance Mission. Several more notifications soon followed, most of them announcing that teams from other countries had completed the level-280 Instance Mission.
