Pan Yun froze. Xue Shao saw it too, and his heart tightened. "Where is that?"

"Ryukyu is a vassal state of the Ming Dynasty, unlike Japan," Xue Shao said. "It has close ties with the Ming Dynasty. Like the King of Korea, its ruler requires the Ming Dynasty's approval for investiture. Let's go take a look."
