Battle Erupts
Lin Mu's bowstring hummed as it trembled.
He did not look at Su Yu, yet his arrowhead remained locked on those people.
His voice was soft but firm. "If it hadn't been for you all along the way, Su Yu and I would've been screwed long ago."
"There's no point struggling now. You go first, we'll hold them off. If you make it out alive, remember to take Gu Moxiu with you. That guy's utter trash, but living is still better than dying."
"Bullshit!"
Lei Zhen suddenly let out a thunderous roar and slammed his gloved fist down.
He glared at Su Yu and Lin Mu, spraying spit all over their faces. "What the fuck are you two talking about? Do you really take me for some coward afraid of death?"
He grabbed Su Yu by the collar and yanked him before him.
Veins bulged across his forehead. "From the day I entered the rift valley with you, I'd already made up my mind!"
"What do you mean, burdening each other? If we're keeping score, you saved my life. I'm the one who owes you!"
"And now you want me to leave you behind and run? Su Yu, who the hell are you looking down on?"
Uncle Yan merely shook his head. "As long as the Young Master can live, that is enough. They should be able to escape. After all, they are not important."
"I'm just a bag of old bones. I can't run anymore. If I stay, I can still block a couple of blades for the Young Master."
Uncle Yan knew that those people had put him on their death list.
If he stayed with the Young Master, Qin Sha would surely die.
Shen Wuxiao did not respond to Su Yu and Lin Mu's words.
