Unifying the Clan, Shisui's Corpse

The atmosphere at the Clan Meeting changed because of Senya's Mangekyo.

Everyone was swept up in wild excitement; only Senya remained calm and composed.

Fugaku looked at Senya and said something no one had expected:

"Senya, you were right. I have truly, truly failed as clan head."

"Since you have awakened the Mangekyo, why not hand the position of clan head over to you?"

"Compared to me, I believe that under your leadership, the clan will certainly reclaim its former glory!"

His words carried a hint of self-mockery, along with a faint sense of relief.

Ever since the Nine-Tails Attack, the conflict between the clan and the village had left him overwhelmed. Yet there was no better candidate within the clan to become the next clan head.

He had originally planned to wait a few more years, let Itachi gain more experience, and then hand the position over to him. But he had never imagined—

"But I can take the position of vice clan head."

"Senya, why did you bring me here?"

After the Clan Meeting ended, Senya brought Fugaku to a waterfall more than ten li west of Naka Shrine.

Senya had already familiarized himself with the surroundings when the clan moved to the edge of the village. Among the clan's current territory, this was the only waterfall.

Senya looked at the pool beneath the waterfall.

"Let's look for Shisui's body. He should have died here."

After thinking for a while, Senya realized that his two ocular techniques worked best when used together. If his guess was correct, this could also reduce the consumption of ocular power.

Likewise, Word Spirit's passive ability could be combined with the Mental Breakdown System, making it easier to mentally break others.

After all, until he replicated the Eternal Mangekyo Sharingan, Senya could not use his ocular techniques freely. Obito was worth considering, though. Hashirama Cells were good stuff, and they could replenish ocular power as well.
