Rainbow Wing traveled to Osaka to investigate and exterminate the Light-Devouring Bees while Gu Wenyu reunited with Su Zimai and kept his identity secret. As the attack approached, Qiao sought books and answers from Su Wei, and Black Cocoon’s presence at the bookstore brought the rival sides face to face.

• Ji Minghuan and Sun Changkong comforted a boy carrying a Zeus fragment, then renewed their promise that Sun Changkong would live until her birthday.
• Gu Qiye and Rainbow Wing learned that the Light-Devouring Bee Queen had created four powerful Bee Marquises and were ordered to exterminate the tribe on Nameless Island.
• Black Cocoon found Su Zimai on the Train Demon, revealed that he was Gu Wenyu, and reconciled with her after she confronted him about hiding his identity.
• Rainbow Wing attacked the hive on Nameless Island, but Qiao paralyzed Gu Qiye with poison before Urushihara Ruri teleported the team to safety.
• Su Wei destroyed the Light-Devouring Bees in his bookstore’s basement, while Qiao later visited him, discussed the bees’ future, and left with philosophy books.
• Ke Aojiena replaced Instructor and told Ji Minghuan that Myth Grade Fragment holders did not live past eighteen, while Gu Qiye recognized Father of Puppets as his mentor from a photograph.
• Chen Qian scheduled Rainbow Wing’s island operation for midnight on August 14th, and Black Cocoon warned Gu Qiye that the Bee Marquises must not devour one another.
• Qiao and Kameilong arrived at Su Wei’s bookstore, where Qiao detected Black Cocoon, apologized to Su Wei, and stayed to read while Black Cocoon flew away.

Black Cocoon and the others joined the assault on the Bee Queen’s island, where Qiao became a Bee King and was cast into spatial turbulence. The battle against Sodalitas Salvifica ended with Black Cocoon apparently dying in Mechanical Buddha’s explosion, while Gu Qiye and Gu Zhuoan reunited with Su Zimai and learned she was searching for Wen Yu.

• Black Cocoon demonstrated his stolen Clock Tower Shadow ability to Gu Zhuoan, then met Cesar and Yagubalu as the group prepared for the coming battle.
• Qiao left the hive and returned his borrowed books to Su Wei, while Uriel and Gu Qiye planned their operation and drew closer before the assault began.
• Rainbow Wing attacked the island as Kameilong transformed people in Osaka, and Esther killed him while Gu Qiye and Uriel entered the hive to confront Mairweit.
• Gu Qiye and Uriel killed Mairweit and the Bee Queen, but Qiao emerged from the ruins as a Bee King and paralyzed the island with neurotoxin.
• Cesar and Black Cocoon helped defeat Qiao, sending him into the Space-Time Turbulence, before Gu Qiye turned against Father of Puppets and the battle spread across the island.
• Black Cocoon and Mutong defeated Oda Hidehisa, Gu Qiye survived Karina’s Polar Domain, and Ghost Bell confronted Father of Puppets over Su Ying’s death.
• Gu Qiye and Gu Zhuoan struck Father of Puppets and destroyed Mechanical Buddha’s heart, but Black Cocoon appeared to be swallowed by its explosion as the others escaped the collapsing island.
• The Undying Bird healed the survivors, and Gu Qiye and Gu Zhuoan met Su Zimai at Platform 7, where she asked where Wen Yu was.

Gu Wenyu’s death brings his family together even as Ji Minghuan returns to Sea Sail Mountain and Xia Pingzhou prepares to fight the Seven Deadly Sins. The White Crow Troupe and Lake Hunt move toward conflict, while the Prophet’s promised visit leaves Ji Minghuan waiting for answers.

• Ke Qirui revealed that Gu Wenyu had been Black Cocoon, and Gu Qiye and Su Zimai held an empty-coffin funeral for him with their family and friends.
• Black Cocoon completed Unit One’s Skill Tree and learned from Urushihara Ruri that Sodalitas Salvifica’s base was in Iceland, while the Instructor returned to Rainbow Wing and Kong Youling regained her speech and hearing.
• Ji Minghuan created Little Nian Beast, returned to Sea Sail Mountain, and faced the Zodiac Team before reuniting with the Nian Beast Overlord.
• Little Nian Beast remembered his childhood bond with Lin Xingshi and decided to make the Wrath Demon his Contracted Demon, while Xia Pingzhou and Ayase Origami reconciled and watched fireworks together.
• The Prophet appeared to Ji Minghuan in the frozen Imprisonment Room and promised to return in two days, while Ji Minghuan kept the encounter secret.
• Xia Pingzhou killed the Black Sun Demon with Ragdoll Princess, reached Tier Three, and later traveled to Haifan City with the White Crow Troupe.
• Xia Pingzhou and Enma Rin defeated Sloth and forced Wrath to contract with Xia Pingzhou, while Ji Minghuan planned to capture Wrath and protect his operation.
• Lake Hunt agreed that Gu Qiye and Gu Zhuoan would help hold back the White Crow Troupe during its fight with the Nian Beast, as the Nian Beast Overlord questioned Little Nian Beast about Sloth’s death.

Ji Minghuan learned that the Prophet was his future self and discovered more about Sodalitas Salvifica, while the White Crow Troupe and the Zodiac Team clashed in Haifan City. The Troupe killed Zhou Jiuya, but Little Nian Beast intervened and carried the unconscious Lin Xingshi away.

• Ji Minghuan learned from Restricted Class 1001 that he was his future self, merged their consciousnesses, and learned that Sodalitas Salvifica’s base was at Hofsjökull Glacier.
• The Instructor took the children to a moonlike third floor and activated Mental Imprints that made most of them obey him.
• Little Nian Beast recalled its past with Lin Xingshi as the Nian Beast Overlord and the Zodiac Team set out to fight Lake Hunt in Haifan City.
• The White Crow Troupe split into battles against Su Wei’s group and Gu Qiye, while Little Nian Beast joined the battle and rescued the Nian Beast Overlord before escaping with the Zodiac demons.
• The Troupe learned that Black Cocoon was Gu Wenyu, while Little Nian Beast became leader of Sea Sail Mountain and rushed to warn the injured Lin Xingshi.
• Urushi Haramichi led the White Crow Troupe into Haifan City Central Hospital, where Zhou Jiuya and Zhong Wujiu attacked Lin Xingshi.
• The White Crow Troupe overwhelmed Zhong Wujiu and killed Zhou Jiuya, completing Xia Pingzhou’s Main Quest 1.
• Little Nian Beast forced the Troupe to retreat, carried the unconscious Lin Xingshi into the mountains, and left Zhuge Hui to take Zhong Wujiu and Zhou Jiuya’s corpse away.
