Pushing open a massive door, Uchiha Yu saw a white cat lying on a tatami mat.
It was an enormous cat, even bigger than a Northeastern Golden British Shorthair. Its entire body was covered in snowy white fur, while long dark-blue tufts of hair grew from inside its ears.
Uchiha Yu's footsteps were soft and soundless, but the act of opening the door alerted Maoyu, who instinctively sensed the terrifying power of the visitor.
Maoyu had never met Uchiha Yu, nor could he understand how someone had entered his room without making a sound while possessing such an intimidating presence.
Maoyu was Cat Castle's strongest fighter. To protect the interests of the Ninja Cats, he had spent years clashing with other ninja clans, so he was exceptionally wary. His first thought was that an enemy had infiltrated Cat Castle.
And that enemy had most likely come to assassinate him.
The big white cat opened his eyes and glared furiously. Yet his entire body was paralyzed; apart from baring his fangs in threat and swishing his tail in warning, he could do nothing.
Just as Maoyu was falling into despair, he spotted Miwa Masayo on Uchiha Yu's shoulder and immediately guessed the newcomer's identity. Only then did he relax.
Relaxing, the big white cat haughtily asked, "You're Lady Miwa Masayo's contractor, Uchiha Yu of the Uchiha clan, right? What do you want with me?"
Uchiha Yu smiled and replied, "I'm Uchiha Yu. Nice to meet you, Maoyu."
As he greeted the big white cat, he kept walking toward the white cat, getting closer and closer...
Close enough to make Maoyu tense up again. He loudly demanded:
"Meow! What are you doing getting so close?"
"Stop! Don't come any closer, meow!"
"Don't touch me!"
"Who said you could touch my ears?!"
"Meow!
