A murky, hazy sky shrouded the dead gigantic city. There was no sun or stars in the sky, only an even layer of dim yellow light. The city was magnificent and grand, yet silent and utterly deserted—a dead divine kingdom looked exactly as a "dead" divine kingdom should. And in this empty, abandoned place, a new group of visitors had arrived.
Amber widened her eyes, tensely watching the surroundings. Only after confirming that nothing was about to suddenly jump out and beat her up did she relax slightly. Her gaze then swept across the distant silhouettes of high walls and palaces as she muttered thoughtfully, "This place looks so different from the area around the Night Lady's throne... I thought the God of War Divine Kingdom would be an open, spacious place too."
"Of course different divine kingdoms wouldn't be the same," Gawain said casually, glancing at Amber. "They reflect the appearances believers have imagined based on mythological stories. Different churches do everything they can to depict a heavenly landscape distinct from everyone else's—so in a sense, this is also an important means of attracting their respective followers."
"Then I'd definitely like the divine kingdoms of the Three Gods of Abundance or the God of Commerce," Amber said at once, her eyes lighting up as she beamed. "They say beer and honey flow everywhere in the gardens of the Three Gods of Abundance, with fresh fruit that never rots hanging from the trees, and dishes enough to feed countless people laid out on the long table in the center of the garden. The God of Commerce's divine kingdom is covered in money, and everyone builds houses out of gold and gemstones..."
Modir, who had been curiously examining the scenery around them, could not help turning to glance at the "Imperial
