Background / History

Heti was born into the declining Cecil noble family. Upon reaching adulthood, she converted to the faith of Milmina and renounced her inheritance so it could pass to Rebecca's father. Though she could have retained a non-hereditary baroness title, she sold it to a merchant to aid the territory during a difficult period. Noble law consequently regarded her as legally equivalent to married, despite her being unmarried. 65

As a learned spellcaster, Heti studied the First Dynasty murals and reliefs in the Cecil ancestral tomb, extracting historical and magical information from their imagery. When Gawain Cecil emerged from his coffin, she initially panicked alongside the others. 2

After Gawain began rebuilding Cecil Territory, Heti became one of his principal coordinators.
